AWESOME but some annoyances
You’re gonna look AWESOME in this. The look is bitchin’. HOWEVER, there are some annoyances that kept me from buying it: (1) the plastic “leather” (which some businesses call vegan leather to sell you plastic and up-charge you) is junky and unbreathable. It’s obviously not leather when you see it up close. It would certainly crack and peel after a few winters. It’s also SO HOT. I had to unzip every time I wore this in 40*F and below weather, because it doesn’t breathe at all. Then I’d get cold and zip up again. Annoying. (2) the buckles at the neck jingle annoyingly. This is a problem with all jackets by this brand with this buckle. (3) Sleeves are too short (for tall girls). The wrists were TIGHT too. I always had marks imprinted on my wrist from wearing this jacket.

Meet Samantha
American Girl Doll fans will get this instantly. (In a great way!). Excellent quality. Gorgeous buttons. Nice knife pleats. Good fabric. The houndstooth pattern is stitched so beautifully (ya know - in a way that is no longer done anywhere now to maximize profit). My only gripe was my typical long-waist gripe (the waist hits my natural waist too high). Otherwise, great rental. Rented for Thanksgiving festivities. Would look nice with a white or black blouse underneath. If you did that, consider a size up. I think exposed arms look misplaced in this dress. I felt a little incomplete in this look with my arms out. The collar curled outward on me. Perhaps that wouldn’t happen with the next size up.

Get ready for all eyes on you, baby. There’s not much give, if any. I would have preferred the size 6 over the 4. It would be A+ for NYE. The photo shows how sparkly the gold gets. This was onstage with just dim lighting and curtains drawn. Loved the cut of the dress. It was a very fun dress. I will rent again!

I really loved this knife-pleated skirt. Thank God for tall-friendly options! I wore with my block heel boots in this fall photo and also with my summer slide heels in the late summer. There is zero stretch. It was subtly iridescent. It was not a cheap-looking shine.

Solid basic dress
Solid basic dress. Casual but not informal. Paired nicely with black boots and this white blazer. This dress is a good transition dress for the changing seasons. I can see this dress being worn with no jacket in the summer. Could add a small neck scarf or a think belt and simple sandals. This white dress is lined. I’ve rented this twice in a US 6 then a US 4. Both worked fine for my measurements.

70s at its best
Everyone loved this, especially people who were college age in the 70s. This is it! Great construction. Quality material. High quality ceramic beads on the bow accent at the V. Only bummer is that you can’t wear this to work; it’s VERY low cut. I wore a “U”-shaped wire bra, that’s how low it is. A camisole underneath takes away from the dress.

Pros: fit great! Fun outfit. Interesting soft fabric. The kinda outfit you wear if you’re moving. Cartwheel-approved. You can dress is up and down. I would definitely buy if it weren’t more than I think it’s worth. Cons: (1) the buttons take time to button. (There’s a horizontal stitch between every button that keeps the outermost layer down and flat). It makes for a flattering line, but it’s a time-sucker. You’ll have to manage each.and.every.time.you.go.to.the.restroom and even more times if you’re breastfeeding/pumping like me. Tedious. (2) It looks a little like you’re a movie extra in Johnny Cash’s gig at Folsom Prison. How you accessorize will make or break the look.

Maleficent/Lady Gaga shoulders
In real life, the shoulders are very pointy. That classic evil character pointy shoulder look. Most of these photos don’t show it, but dang, you couldn’t miss my “Born This Way” shoulder accents. There’s structured fabric folded and sewn down into the shoulders for that look. I like the daring look, but it was too much with the (2) very wide décolletage (3) super low V neckline (4) loud crayola colored print. All 4 features together were too much. I could not wear this at work without a camisole underneath….or silk scarf over top to cover my intense cleavage. When you have to do that, it ruins the look (for me). It also adds (5) yet another feature that makes it all not cohesive. Back to the drawing board!

Wrinkled easily. Fabric felt like a mix of a trench coat + a cheap comforter. The lapel was wimpy. Empire waist (which is unflattering on my proportions). I LOVE the Australian outback/safari look, but this vest was just okay. Pros: It was comfy! GREAT pockets. Cool in warm weather despite the thick material.

Extremely homely
A superior even said, "well, you gotta wear what you gotta wear," referencing the nursing/pumping garments and accessible clothing postpartum moms have to wear. Ouch! They're not wrong though. I put this on that morning before work and said "ooof" out loud looking at the mirror. So yeah, it's bad. I'm "daring" with fashion and wore it anyway, but I looked frumpy in it all day. Bummer!! I didn't wear it again. It went straight back into the bag. It looks super cool in the pics! Oh well. It's great in warm weather and breezy. Very stretchy and different. Hope it works for you!!

There's no substitute for real silver
They're heavy, which makes them feel it's "more real" and better quality. But when you're facing the wearer, these earrings still look like thin, fake silver earrings. Bummer. I was hoping for more from this brand. Influencers have been pushing this brand for years. Make what you will from that.

Loved it. Felt very Austin Powers female lead in this. Only tough bit was styling it. It’s a dense warm construction that’s best for cold months, so with the no-sleeves and vibrant spring colored green hue, it was somewhat tough to style for the spring season, which is what it looks best suited for. A white blouse underneath works too, but be mindful of the cut at the waist exposing that blouse. Your choice of trousers or skirt underneath will also make or break this vest.

Ya know - I haven’t learned my lesson in renting orange pants clearly. (I rented a pair from a different brand about a year ago, and they went straight back into the bag). This pair was much better (style and fabric were both excellent). I wore many times. However, just like the pair from before, such bright orange wide leg trousers must be styled with a fitted top or else you run the risk of looking like you’ve just been booked in county jail. The matching vest is never available, so I can’t speak to that look IRL. Orange is a very flattering color on me, so I go for it most of the time, despite the potential inmate look. The fit on these were really great, though a bit big for the sizing. These are definitely vanity sized. I’m a solid postpartum 6, and the size 4 trousers I rented are definitely a true size 7 (if 7 existed) in the waist. It’s an 8 in the hips, butt, and legs. I had to have a belt to keep them up. The inseam is GREAT for tall women, but you do need a heeled shoe.

RENT THIS!
Wow. Everything was gorgeous. Long enough sleeves finally!!! (Tall people problems). This is cropped a little, so you must have high waisted trousers or skirt. I wore my black Kindred Bravely pumping/nursing tank underneath, and it looked perfectly formal. This is a gorgeous item; I might even call it a staple. If it weren’t so pricey, I’d certainly purchase it. I wore it to work and received many compliments from men and women alike.

Great quality. Vibrant color. I agree with another review which said it clings to the worst spots in your midsection. I did like the shape and cut. The fabric was tough for me however. I thought it would pair well with a crisp white blouse underneath, with a belt, etc., but the fabric showed all the buttons and the outlining of the shirt underneath. I was stumped on how to style this. I might try this at a later date when I'm not so freshly postpartum.

Fine; was flattering enough
The fabric is warm. The cut is okay. Not a pair to wear on its own. It needs a matching blazer over it. It has a significant boot cut with a slit on the sides. If you care about trends, then skip this, as the cut didn’t feel of the moment. It “did the job.” I would not rent again.

The cropped boot cut wasn't good in the 90s; no good now
My bad. I clearly missed the cropped boot cut feature on this. Soooo unflattering. The rise was great! (For me and my long waist). Would never ever rent (or buy) ever ever. Too bad because the print was pretty cool. The waist had an EXTRA inch or two in the back. Not sure who this would fit or look good on. Got it brand new with tags. Went back into the bag immediately.

Too baggy/poofy around the pelvic area
Pros: very cozy! Great for cold months and for cold-natured people. Quality fabric. Inseam was a great length for my legs (tall). Cons: the cut around the pelvis was not flattering. Perhaps a smaller size would’ve helped. This was a generous size 6, as there was lots more room in the waist than I see in 6s. Reminded me of the vanity sizing in Lilly Pulitzer shorts. I needed a belt with this. I would likely not rent this again even if a smaller sizer were available.

A+ style, F fitting
Size up by 3 sizes if your post partum. Those buttons were NO match for my postpartum chest. It's the slippery and tight stretching fabric, tinnnny buttons, and ruching that altogether work to pull away the buttons from being buttoned even when it's just on the hanger! Needs to go back to the drawing board because the blouse itself is really fun and stylish. It's the exact sort of piece I RTR for.

Didn’t job. Still on the lookout for the perfect trench. The belt was weird as others have said. Additionally, the belt was annoying for me as it hit in an unflattering spot (ie not at my natural waist). If you’re tall and long waisted, you’ll know what I mean.

Perfect for postpartum in winter!
I LOVED this. I will likely buy it. This sweater made me feel so cute and put-together immediately postpartum. I wore with my black Kindred Bravely postpartum stretchy pants. They come way up. That's needed for this cropped sweater. I paired with leather boots. Garment is well made, different, and fun.

Absolute favorite! 37-40 weeks
I cannot stress how much I enjoyed this, especially for the end of my pregnancy (Nov-Dec). I felt cute as a button, and so many others thought so too. Good construction, good fabric, pretty color. I felt very secure in it. It showcased my pregnant body very well, as it was extremely flattering. It disguised well the belly band I sometimes wore underneath to help support the weight of my belly. I wore with a turtleneck, wool above-ankle socks, and suede winter lace up shoes. I even wore it to and then again from the hospital with baby.
