Very pretty color and more of a rose gold. The dress I got was a little damaged and missing small rows of sequins, so I felt like I had to be careful all night. The dress fit like a glove. I wore SPANX underneath, and you couldn't see any shapewear or underwear lines at all. YAY! I am 5'3" and I wore modest 3 inch heels, and the regular length was perfect. However, I'm glad I'm a small chested girl, because there would have been a lot of cleavage/spillage for a military ball. Also, if you are very paranoid about the dreaded "armpit hang" problem with strapless dresses, this one may not be for you.
