I rented this for my 40th birthday celebration with my girlfriends. Trendy color that stands out in a sea of black dresses. I usually wear a 4 and have a bit of a wider rib cage and carry my weight in my hips but the two fit like a glove. I wore my NuBra underneath and didn't have to worry about any straps. I paired it with my pony hair leopard print stilettos and black and gold jewelry. I was able to enjoy a gluttonous birthday dinner followed by dancing without ever having to worry about how my dress felt or whether anything was shifting or showing!

Dolce and Gabbana knows how to make a sleek sexy dress well. Fabric felt fantastic and has nice amount of stretch to it without feeling cheap or thin. It is extremely form fitting and you have to have a decent amount of confidence to wear it without being self conscious. If you're worried about a tummy/pooch this might not be the dress for you (and there are some days when I don't think this dress would've worked for me if I was feeling bloated). Spanx might help with that but they might've been difficult to hide underneath and all that material would become pretty balmy in warm weather (not to mention you might feel like a stuffed sausage). I am a small B cup and felt a little 'stuffed' up top but it did end up creating some nice cleavage. I loved that it hit just below the knee on me. If it was above the knee I don't think it would've been as appropriate for the evening wedding event. I wore them for over 6 hours without any pain or discomfort. I LOVED these earrings and wish I could've kept them. Received many compliments.

I ordered this as my backup dress but did not end up wearing it. I absolutely love the bold green color which is on trend this year. I agree with previous reviews that a Nubra works best as it dips fairly low under the arm and through the back. The low back and one shoulder is sexy but the rest of the dress lacks shape. Draping in dresses can be flattering when it hides flaws but when a dress lacks any shape whatsoever it becomes more of a sack and didn't do anything for my figure. The dress shown on the model had a more structured looking front hem line but the dress that I received was very uneven and seemed sloppier to me and I don't think any amount of ironing would've changed it. I generally wear a true size 4 but ordered the 2 based on other reviews. I'm guessing I could've gotten away with the size 0 if I wanted a shorter, more casual dress.
