Too body con for me!
But gorgeous! And soooo soft. I'm a 34C and a size Small/Medium, in general. Medium at the very max. I rented a medium and it just felt too bodycon. I'd have bought it if it were more true to size.

Perfect for those tropical nights
A really pretty, special dress. Looks great with a tan. The colors really pop. It was also very forgiving around the waistline (which is rare for Tory Burch).

This shade of blue is INCREDIBLE!
I paired this with the Rachel Roy White Tex Dress (which I didn't end up wearing, however) for my bridal shower. I went with another white cocktail dress, instead. But the earrings! Oh how I loved wearing these earrings. The stark contrast of white with a pop of blue made the top of my "trousseau" and were beyond fantastic looking! Tons of compliments about the simplicity of the colors together (white with blue), the particular shade of blue and the detail of the earrings being very delicate while still being a statement piece (or pair)! I was initially concerned that they would be large looking...especially for an afternoon tea bridal shower. But that was not at all the case. They are JUST at that perfect size of being between the too big or not big enough. They were strong, well-defined statement-makers!

a nice structured feeling in the midsection
though this is no corset, it does allow you to feel a lot better about putting something a bit slinkier on than you should. it's that extra something that makes you feel better about your midsection and ready to take on the night's events.

this is the one LBD that will actually turn heads
this dress fit like a dream. it was soft and comfortable to wear all night. it was the PERFECT length. it was fantastic. what i loved the most was the rouching that went over the midsection. it allowed me to BREATHE and to look svelte all at the same time! this LBD never got lost in a mob of other LBDs. people came up to me several times that evening to tell me how much they loved this take on the LBD!

felt like a golden goddess
I loved this dress because it hugged all my curves in the right places, yet it is very forgiving all at the same time. I've never experienced that before. I am not back to my target weight yet and I was taking a BIG chance on wearing this to a wedding. It ran through my head how much attention was going to be drawn to me and I was terrified. But I loved the dress and I went for it. Lord I'm glad I did! People approached me all night telling me how amazing I looked. Did I mention that it was comfortable, as well? So, not only was it impossible that it was tight yet forgiving, but I could also breathe in it.

These earrings were better than I had anticipated. They were fantastic: they made a statement, yet were classic enough to not appear costume-like. I wore them to a wedding with the Halston Heritage Gold One Shoulder gown. Felt like a greek goddess.

Studio 54 meets Greek goddess
I LOVED this dress and felt very confident in it during a not so confident time in my life (weight-wise). At the time, I was normally wearing a size 6 dress...but because it ran large on me, I wore the size 4. Also, I wasn't aware that the dress was offered in "Regular" and in "Long" and I received the "Regular." I would have preferred to wear the "Long" since I am tall, so make sure you are aware that you can choose the correct length for your height with this dress. The dress looked stunning with the MARIAM HASKELL, Sea Treasure Stud Earrings that I rented along with it! Felt like a Studio 54 Greek goddess...in an elegant way.
