I'm so happy I ordered this dress! This was actually a second style I ordered. The original dress I ordered, I ended up really disliking so I was so relieved I had this one to wear. This is a gorgeous dress and so unique! I got SO many compliments. I loved the true navy color, the sheer section in the middle added some sex appeal, and it had nice weight to it for a fall wedding. It does not have very much give but that wasn't a huge issue. I wore a strapless bra because the upper back of the dress was somewhat sheer as well.

I honestly don't remember if I wore the 4 or 6. I'm reviewing this way after the event so I can't recall. I will say that the material is nice and thick and kind of stretchy so it's really comfortable. The color is very pretty. It's not a show stopper but definitely a reliable rental if you want something safe.

I love polka dots and dresses with pockets so in that respect, the dress was great. However, I thought this dress was extremely uncomfortable and very restricting. The thickness and type of fabric does not allow for much movement. I was not able to lift my arms completely and felt that if I had moved a certain way, the whole dress could have ripped. I did get quite a few compliments. The polka dots are actually made of sequins. In the pictures online, I had thought they looked like just a shiny fabric. The thick tweedy fabric and long sleeves did keep me warm however, I would not rent this particular dress again.

This dress is gorgeous in person and fit me like a glove. This was my first rent the runway experience and I really took a chance with this dress because I ordered it very last minute and didn't really have a good backup. I felt very sexy and confident in it because the material is thick enough in the back that you don't feel like you need Spanx or anything to smooth your butt and thighs out. The ruching in the stomach area also really flatters the body. The colors are very vibrant in person and the slit is just enough to offer some sexiness to an overall very classy dress. It was perfect for the fall wedding I attended at a winery and I got a TON of compliments! My only regret is that I can't buy it to keep it forever!
