Pretty neckline, fun back, flattering for any body type

This dress has the qualities you want in a body loving piece. Our 2nd child is a 6mo old infant, so I've been feeling blah about picking a gown for our HS friend's wedding. You know, my boobs are full, my tummy's not as flat and I still have more weight than I typically do which is mostly in my hips and booty (pear shaped gal). This gown gave me the confidence I hoped for. Adored the Sweetheart neckline - feminine and flattering. There's structured boning in top part & Back laces are so cute

Stunning rich blue, delicate sequins, very versatile fit. Looks great on, rely on review photos.

This gown served double duty at a charity gala and maternity portraits we scheduled just after. I'm 7 months pregnant, guessing I went from 125 to about 140lbs, here. Ordered a 2L and 4R, the 2L was perfect. I didn't wear super high heels, but the long length was needed, perhaps because the bump lifted front of dress a bit. Although, at 5'6" I think I would have still preferred the long. It's lightweight, very, very thin material (not see through, don't worry), and moves nicely when you walk. PROS -Back of top is stretchy. Really stretchy elastic gathering. Doesn't take away from the look at all, but would allow for the top to hold nicely whether you're small or larger chested. (I'm a not-quite-full-B, here.) -Sequins have such a delicate and interesting pattern. It's clear this gown is older and well worn, maybes it's missing a few sequins, I don't know for certain but no one would ever be able to tell. They're sweetly scattered about. -Color is a really rich & vibrant indigo/navy blue. The hue hasn't lost any life. I'd imagine this would work well on many different skin tones. -Raw edge along the sweetheart neckline is a nice touch. -This worked well for me, pregnant, but it would definitely look lovely on someone with a flat tummy. And would be forgiving/figure flattering. CONS -I should have used a bit of tape, had to pull up every so often. With the stretchy back, it gives a bit, especially over time. - I wore this in late November, and was a bit cold, know you'll be chilly in cool months. All the layers are super thin. Really don't have any other cons, I've rent somewhere in the nature of 25 dress or so from RTR. Felt like this was one of the best values and easiest to pair accessories. No complaints!

Top runs large. I was too small in chest to make it work.

This arrived as a replacement to a similar dress I ordered which became unavailable. Sadly, I couldn't pull this one off. Even though I'm 7 months pregnant, there's still not enough going on up top to fill out the halter. Band does runs small and tight though. Lends itself to a very specific body type.

Vibrant color, unique back, comfortable for sitting, eating, dancing at wedding

Wore this for an evening, summer wedding. It served the occasion very well and I got compliments on it from strangers throughout the evening. The dress had enough unexpected flair to give it personality yet refined style & clean sophistication. Paired it with a oversized pearl statement necklace and nude shoes. Rented the size 2 and 0, I typically wear a 0 in my RTR rentals -this was no exception. 0 fit best and could have even be a tiny bit tighter. Maybe half a size larger than what I think of for 0. PROS Color pops and photographs well. Back is lovely, lace is delicate and you can wear an everyday strapless bra; just slide it down a touch. Length is longer at/below knee; given it's a tight, red dress the longer skirt keeps it classy. I'm 5'6", all legs and it was a perfect length. Note, esp if you're shorter, it might be too long. Satin lining, soft fabric that's super stretchy all over. I've had thick fabric dresses, I def wouldn't describe this as think but it does feel luxurious and light. Shows off shoulders and arms/back. No wrinkles, even right out of the bag! Yay. CONS Outside set of straps require fashion tape. Not an option, straps are super long and too stiff to look right when they fall down your shoulders. I was terribly rushed getting ready and couldn't find my tape, I was sadly fixing, adjusting all night. My fault ...ugh. And of course, as soon as I got home I saw my fashion taping sitting right where I left it. Wear seamless panties, shows lines.

Favorite rental ever, hands down.

Love, loved, loved. Thick luxurious fabric, rich darker red color a couture-ish design and unique style that fits like a glove. I couldn't have been happier, onceI figured out how to get my legs in it (yes, put both legs in the same hole, don't try to split the legs. The long extra piece hanging on side is just that. Totally-extra-don't-mess-w-it-piece.) The size 0 was damaged and didn't arrive, I think the zero would have been a little more form fitting but the two work nicely. Good style for smaller top (chest & ribs) with room in skirt to accommodate a bubble. Short side of skirt was shorter than I expected, longer side longer than I expected. After that shock, I got a big smile and felt like a million bucks. Dress showed deep wrinkles out of the bag. Make sure to hang in your bathroom and allow at least 2-3 steamy hot showers to occur to make them release. That's all it needs. I paired it with a super chunky pearl and crystal necklace (Charming C) and nude peep toe, nude clutch. I've rented many gowns now, this dress is truly special and is high quality that makes me want to rent it again.

Unique and fun. Soft scuba fabric

Wore this to a more formal speakeasy while vacationing in Austin. Fabric was ideal for warmer weather, I didn't perspire but if I had there would've been no worries about visibility. The cut outs are super fun and are perfectly balanced with the modest top and knee length skirt. Bottom of Skirt hit at a very flattering point even on me, I'm 5'6" and all legs. On a shorter gal it might be off balance. Waist band definitely has no give at all (blue band above skirt). If you're mostly sitting it may become uncomfortable.

Glittery, flowing and easy to wear. Perfect for a roaring 20s party.

Easy fit, sparkly and fun with an open back that adds excitement. Fabric is light and lays nicely, could imagine some women would feel better to add spanx underneath if smoothing things out was a concern. I wore a sticky bra with the side tabs, it worked perfect and tabs didn't protrude through open back (openness is enough to show shoulder blades and a little middle back region, not much more). This gown seemed a little shorter than others. The last long-length Badgley I rented, was too long. Not this one. I rented 0R and 2L, I wore 2L - overall fit was a bit tighter and shorter than most, and not very forgiving since fabric is thin and tightly threaded full of sequins. Fit is slim through top with slight A-line, very small train. It's great if traveling, definitely doesn't wrinkle or need steaming. I paired it with black opera gloves and a headchain I ordered from Amazon for a friend's "Roaring 20s, 30th Birthday." (Combined, under $20!) Plus a drop long necklace I wore backwards to accent the back. Solid option as a rental. Dress speaks for itself so not much jewelery is needed.

Amazing fit, AMAZING color. Can't say enough

I wore this dress for a black tie optional YMCA gala in November. Not only did the 0R fit like a glove (I'm 5'6", note long length wasn't needed) the sophisticated detail of the angled peplum and one shoulder made this gown ideal for mingling, a little dancing and stealing of the show. Strapless bra worked perfectly, back of dress accommodates one nicely. The slight flare at the bottom of skirt is very figure flattering, really creates an hourglass figure. With any satin, solid colored fabric - be careful about moisture. Water spots can show so don't drip your drink on it. Overall this was a great quality gown, thick fabric that holds you in and beautiful, vibrant emerald color. I can't imagine this hue looking anything than perfect on every skin tone.

Perfect!

I've worn this about half a dozen times. It still fits great, adheres properly and holds it's shape. I'm really happy with the purchase and when it's time for me to get another one of these in a year or so - this is the brand and product I'll seek out.

LOVE! My favorite rental

Wore this to the Snowflake Gala, nonprofit fundraiser. Loved the fit, color and shape of the dress. The right amount of delicate detail that really sets it off. Purchase the sticker bra through RTR so my back would remain bare, it worked perfectly. I actually have worn that sticky bra several times and really like it.

Fun & Flirty, wish it fit better

Loved the dress itself. Skirt has a puff to it that makes it feminine and forgiving. The chest fit nicely, too. Just a challenge where the point in front connects to the skirt. I liked the dress and have no regrets renting it, but wouldn't rent again. And perhaps wouldn't recommend to others. Despite having a svelte figure, I felt a little boxy. And the gap that formed at the belly button was weird. My torso is fairly long, despite reading similar comments from others I went ahead and reserved it. I should have headed their warnings!

Color is fab-u-lous. Fit is airy yet structured and interesting.

I wore this to a black-tie optional fundraiser event. Turned out to be a great option. I'm fairly tall, 5'6" and wore ~2.5"-3" heels -- after reviewing other comments got the regular length, which was absolutely perfect. I imagine the long would be really, really long. Had size 6 (40) as backup, never even tried it on; the structured top part fit nicely in the 4 (38). Fabric is very thin and flowy (cold in November!), I was able to see the tag along side of leg a bit through, but only when looking closely. No biggie. All night I felt bright and energetic with the fun color. Paired it with an emerald necklace and earrings, LOVED that combo. (Charming Charlie...) Some personal thoughts and advice, I have a small top and rib cage, esp. in proportion to my very round butt. So with a cascading skirt one could tell I had a ba-dunka-dunk underneath. Would've liked tighter spankx, but alas. My strapless bra worked fine. Couldn't see it whatsoever, that was convenient. I think if you have larger boobs it would cut then off in between a little too much and have an less than desireable "divider" effect they way the straps wrap. Overall excellent gown.
