I wore this for one of my bridal showers with a silky navy top. The colors are just like in the photo. I'm pretty sure I was the first to wear it so both the 4 and 6 were a little tight at first, but the 6 ended up being perfect for my event. I wore a blouse-y shirt, so you couldn't tell the waist was a little big like others have said. I thought it was generally true to size- I think being tall and having a backside helped :) Be careful what bracelets you wear… I was a little worried some would get caught in the detail so I went minimal with accessories. I liked it so much I might buy it!

I rented both the 8 and the 10 for a wedding. The 8 (my usual size) fit, but it was a little tighter around the hips than I would've liked for a wedding where my parents will be there too. I ended up wearing the 10 with a belt since the chest was a little too big. The dress was a good length, the contrast of the lace was pretty and overall a good rental.

First, the dress is beautiful. Nice material, nice color, seemingly nice fit around the chest. However, the other tall girls who reviewed this must've found a longer version of this dress. I'm 5'9, relatively equal proportioned, and you could literally see my butt when standing up. I was shocked after reading all the reviews that said it wasn't too short! If you are over 5'6... I would definitely get a back up just in case!

I got this dress as my backup, and while its beautiful, it was not the best for my shape. I think it would be FABULOUS for someone with larger hips because of the shirring on the sides, but it seemed to add to my hips instead of making them look good. The sequins didn't seem too itchy on the sides.

loved the fit of this dress, especially the bodice. the length was a little short (could've used like 1-2' heels) but I wore 3" nude pumps and they were fine. I ordered the 10L too, and the length was better, minus the dress being too big :) overall, a lovely dress I would rent again- except for all the facebook pictures!
