I did not choose to wear this dress to my event. I put it on and it felt a little matronly. The color is much more purple than it shows in the photo on the website. Also, the under-slip is longer than the lace and I felt it look very odd. Overall, I would not recommend this dress for many women.

I wore this dress to the Daytime Emmys and it was absolutely perfect. The fit was fantastic, but one of the shoulder strap snaps wasn't holding securing. I slipped a small safety pin in on the under-side of the strap--just to make sure--and never had a problem all evening. The dress clings without being too snug. You can wear any of your favorite foundation under garments without trouble. I am 5'6" and wore 5" heels with the regular length dress. The only warning--be handy with a steamer, because this will need extensive steaming to lay smoothly and correctly. I absolutely loved this dress and received so many wonderful compliments. I HIGHLY recommend this dress for you black tie event.

This is a great little bag, but the key word is little. It was just large enough to hold my ID, phone (without case), powder compact and lipstick. Sure, you don't need much more than that, but I literally had to remove the case on my iPhone or the bag couldn't close.
