Fun & Easy Sequins
Very fun dress! Perfect for NYE (even though our plans were cancelled because #covid, I was still able to wear at the house!) Arm cutout is a little strange and low, but wasn't noticeable to anyone but myself.

Cozy
This was part of my first unlimited shipment, and I was too conservative on sizing. The XL was too large and it was already oversized by design, but this is a very comfy sweater. Not too heavy, but substantial - great for the chillier weather but still comfortable in my work from home routine.

High Quality
This was my first unlimited shipment, and I was too conservative on the sizing. Felt very large and less tailored since I chose an XL instead of an L, but was a high quality piece. Hard to tell on the model, but the design is actually made up of A's and B's (see photo!). There is also lovely ribboning detail that shows beautifully in the sunshine. Very classy and refined, but felt I needed heels to make it not look frumpy with the too large size I received.

Not impressed
This was not form-fitting, but seemed to cling in an unflattering way, creating bumps at my waist where my pants ended, and highlighting my not-so-favorite curves. The cowl was also not very defined, so it just seemed like a bunch of fabric. I made it work for the occasion, but not my favorite.

Just didn't work
I realllllly wanted this to work. So so badly. The fabric is a beautiful, sturdy material but still flowy and fun. However, the tops/straps were just too large to make it work. It felt like a pre-alterations bridesmaid dress, which somehow always have straps that are too long, just in case. The wrap part fit perfectly and had a perfect and flattering fit, but the top was all off. It needed some serious taping and pinning to make it work, and the built-in strap adjusters didn't cut it.

Just meh.
This dress was nice, but nothing spectacular. It is a very dark navy - nearly black - so if you're looking for more jewel tones or something that will stand out, this color probably won't do it. I rented for engagement photos, as we would be outdoors and wanted a contrast to the greenery/changing season, but also something fun and flowy to spin around in. To be honest, this dress has a bit of a 30's vibe, and in some ways felt a little homely and old lady...but with the right accessories and attitude, you could bring back that 30's fun vibe. It fit fine, but wasn't as flattering as I'd thought it would be. It clung strangely at the bra line on the back and on the left stomach area, just below the ruching. In the end I did wear this dress for engagement pictures, and it did provide that flowy, easy look we were going for, but I would not buy the dress or wear it again. I'm normally a 14 in dresses, 30 in Madewell jeans (5'7", 190 lb), and rented the 14 and 16. I ended up wearing the 14, and it fit fine - not tight at all. Hoping the photos turn out well (and will add some when we get them back!)
