I wore this for my inauguration ceremony for city council and it was the perfect choice. Classy, stylish, timeless, feminine, and ready to take on the old boys club of American politics. The details: The dress is well crafted, very fitted around the waisteline, and if you have a curvier bottom. The Pros: The color. It is vibrant and stands out. Also the cut and style of the dress - it is both conservative and sexy. The Cons: Having to return it.

Pros: Daring, bold, and different. The dress stands out. I had compliments all night long, from both men and women. And while very form fitting and low-cut, the structure and material of the dress looked fashionable without looking cheap. Cons: The dress definitely runs small.. To be honest, I have gained a little bit of weight since my last rental, but even the UK 6 was very tight. Also, I personally required a friend to help me unzip and zip up the dress whenever using the restroom. And unfortunately, the structure and material (which makes it look high class) prohibited me from dancing my heart out, due to the non-stretchy fabric. Recommendations: double sided tape to keep your ladies in place. Overall: totally worth it.

For my birthday night out, I paired the tuxedo blazer with a very fun and flirty tulle dress to try and create a sexy masculine and feminine look.. I think it worked out pretty well. Some things of note - I am very short and have short limbs, so the sleeves were long on me. I cuffed them, and it looked fine that way. The #struggleisreal for us petite folks. The shape of the jacket is very beautiful. It has strong shoulders and then tapers in to the waist, with a nice upward V in the back. I wish, however that the button closure was closer, to really dramatize the strong shape and cinch the waist. But otherwise, a stylish and well made jacket.

I wore this flirty number for my birthday night out on the town. I paired it with the Helmut Lang tuxedo blazer to add masculinity to a very feminine dress. Overall, I was happy with the look. Some things to note - I thought the dress ran small. In all my other rentals, I have worn a size zero, or zero petite. This dress, I wore the 2R. The bodice felt fine (I'm a size 32B), but the inner skirt was tight around my hips. It would probably work best on someone who was straight and narrow. Also, I would recommend hanging it up for the night, and steaming it if possible before wearing. The tulle is very wrinkled upon arrival. All in all, it was a fun way to celebrate my birthday.

The dress was perfect for the event. I wore it to an office holiday party that included the governor and congressmen; and while I wanted to look classy, I also wanted it to have that hint of sexy. The dress did that perfectly. The dress runs a little big on top.. and more true to size on the bottom. Actually, if you have a curvier bottom, the short slip underneath might be a little tight. The sleeves were a little long, but I'm 5'1, so not surprising. I just cuffed the sleeves with fabric tape. Fabric tape will be your best friend with this gem.. Overall, great find. Will definitely rent again. *Please excuse my dirty mirror*

The dress is beautiful, obviously well made.. It is both fitted yet comfortable, I was able to wear it for 12 hours and party all night. The bust/shoulders/sleeve areas were a little big, but not noticeably. Being 5'1", the petite was perfect with heels, and it did not overwhelm my short stature. Also despite the fact that my dress was remarkably similar to the bridesmaid dresses, it was still a show stopper, received compliments all night. Thanks RtR!
