This dress runs between small and true to size. I got the 2 and the 4, and while I normally wear 2s, the 4 was more comfortable in the waist and bust. But the straps felt a little long so I had to keep changing out fashion tape to keep them in place. Also, the two dresses were slightly different shades, like the 4 had been washed too many times or with harsher chemicals. So it wasn't a perfect rental, but it did enjoy wearing it, and it was great for dancing at the wedding!

I wore this dress for Easter in Houston and received a ton of compliments. The bright colors are festive and flattering, while the lace overlay provides enough coverage to make it suitable for a family event. I'm usually a size 2, which is what I wore, but could have pulled off a size 0 if it had been available. I'd say it was generously true to size, especially in the waist, so go down for your backup.
