I wanted to look lovely in lace with a little something blue for my bridal shower however the renter before me did not return the dress on time so I never got the chance. Thank goodness for great customer service from RTR that worked with me to choose another stunning dress just in time for the event. You guys rock! I hope I have another occasion to rent this dress, it looks very pretty.

I wish I could have worn this dress, it was very romantic with a modern chic silhouette. Not precious at all. However this was unwearable on my body type. This is not for hourglass figures with a curvy rear and top and small waist. The fabric hung and was drapy in the waist and straining across the hips. The top fit well but this would look truly stunning on someone with a less defined hip to waist ratio. Disappointed.

After the decision was made to do a quick engagement photo studio session. I knew I needed a pop of color and this dress fit the bill. I am a curvy hourglass so a dress that could temper the sexy into sweet and flatter my shape was a must. I wish dearly that RTR would size their dresses by designer measurements, if they did I wouldn't have has such a mess of a fit. I should have gone with an 8 or maybe a 6. This is made more for broad chested, long torso gals. A tall athletic girl would fit into this like a dream. The fit is also large. My fiance had to take a fistful of fabric in the back to make sure the dress didn't gape open on top (and I am am a 36C...I just can't imagine what would be in store for a smaller chested gal!) I wish I had gotten a second dress option since I didn't have any other option but to wear the dress but if you have a sweet guy willing to be a human safety pin well, you'll do OK too.

A good review is better late than never. Right? Last year I needed a dress for a charity ball in NYC that evoked some island charm witout a too casual vibe. I paired it with some beaiful gold bubble and crystal Kate spade earrings from RTR and silk blue fabric butterflies from Etsy; the effect was just magical! I got loads of compliments that night and from a picture a friend snapped at the dinner, a date...that led to an engagement last month. Was it the dress? Maybe... but it sure didn't hurt! A note to other renters, this dress runs long but fits pretty true to size. The 10R was out when I rented so I got the 10L and thank goodness I got the 12R too as back up. The 10 fit perfectly except for the length. I am 5,5" and even with 4 inch platform shoes the dress was dragging. The 12R was pretty long but more managable, though big. I had to wear 2 strapless bras and the sticky tape to fill it up and keep it up, I normally am a 36C. All in all a fabulous experience and a lovely dress!
