Lots of compliments from strangers!
This dress runs large, so size down (maybe even 2 sizes down) - I am not a thin woman and I had to wear a belt to help hold it up (despite having a big bust). Also, the boning inside the dress is a little awkward and uncomfortable because it almost curved into my ribs. That said, the fabric was stunning - a little shimmery and the pattern is unique and beautiful. I am short and it fit me well with heels, so if you're taller you should keep this in mind. I love this designer - the dresses are high quality and truly gorgeous in person.

Lovely color, but runs very large
This dress is a stunning color, beautiful fabric, but size down 2 sizes. I have a full bust and very wide hips and this dress still fit me like a sack everywhere. It is also very heavy, so probably better suited for a fall/winter formal affair.

Cute party dress!
This dress is super cute for something where you need to dress up but also look conservative (work event, family party). I love the fabric of the skirt in contrast with the top. I wore this with black tights and ankle boots with heels and received a lot of compliments.

Unforgettable dress
At first I was worried this dress might be too white for a formal wedding, but in person it's much more pink/grey/violet and you can see the beautiful butterfly design. Even though I am rather short, the length was perfect on me with normal height shoes. I can't express how much I loved this dress! The straps were a little long but I just tied them up in the back and then they held up my bust nicely. The silhouette of this dress is stunning - cinches under the bust with a sort of empire waist, so it hide any potential lower body issues, and highlights your best assets! I wish I could wear this dress over and over again!

Gorgeous formal summer wedding dress
I received this as a backup dress and it was to die for! I wish I could have worn TWO dresses (I loved the other butterfly dress I received even more). This color is vibrant and the design is unique. If you are worried about the girls hanging out, get some double sided dress tape! It works wonders! I have a fuller bust but it wasn't an issue in this dress - I could have gone braless. It displayed a little side boob, but the tape could have fixed that easily. I am a bit short so the length was a little too long for me even with 4 inch heels. It's a stunning dress though, so I do recommend it.

What a cute little summer dress! Fit perfectly! I wore it to Sunday brunch with gold accessories and nude pumps, and it was a hit! Nicely fitted around the bust, but loose around the hips - perfect for an hourglass or pear shape.

Beautiful Dress
I sized up, but just note this is not a fitted style dress, it is very loose (no need to size up). Nonetheless, I loved this dress! I cinched the waist with a skinny belt and wore it with stiletto heels to work. The fabric is so soft and has a little sheen to it, but not too much to wear everyday. I loved it - so elegant!

Holiday party hit!
Fit is very true to size, maybe a little large. I wore an XL which isn't an option for me to choose as a size, but it was very comfortable throughout and no spanx needed! It's very stretchy too. Dress is warm for a cold weather event and the sparkles don't bother you given that the dress is long sleeved. In person it's probably a tiny tad lighter in color than it appears on the website. The only odd thing about the dress is that there is gathered ruching on one side of the skirt, but not the other. If you wear too large of a size, this will look silly as the unruched side will stick out. I wasn't sure if my dresses were damaged so I actually ended up asking RTR about this. Just something to keep in mind when ordering this dress - don't be afraid to size down!

Nice dress for a night out
I rented this rather last minute, so I didn't have the choice to size down, but it would have helped. Dress ran large but it was beautiful - heavy, lovely fabric, great fit - love the flowy skirt and the sexy v-neck cut out which is held in place with a metal that is sewn into it so it doesn't lose its shape, and great rental price. All in all, this was a win. Next time I'll rent a smaller size, but I was so happy to have this to fall back on!

birthday dress fail
I wasn't sure of how to describe this dress - it was large, small and true to size all in one dress. The lower part of the dress is obviously loose and flowy, which is why I chose it (pear shape). Although my bust/waist should have fit nicely into this dress based on the measurements, the fit felt tight in under the bust and above the waist, but then extremely large up top above the bust line - and I'm a D cup. The result was a bizarre fit with large gaps under my arms exposing half of my bra on each side. Fabric felt cheap too. I also think the "W" sizes are not really "W" - normally this isn't an issue for me, but in this case I would have expected a larger fit overall and not such a mixed fit. I was not a fan of this dress.

Last minute choice for a black tie optional event
I have very large hips/thighs and this dress fit nicely and was very comfortable in those areas. The rest of the dress was a bit big, but not too noticeable - I rented this last minute so there weren't any smaller sizes available. Very low cut, so if you're not comfortable with that, this is not the style for you - photo doesn't show it because of my hair but I had a lot of cleavage going on. Seashell design is subtle and elegant. The dress looks bright in person and pairs nicely with black strappy heels. I would definitely recommend it.

I wore this on Christmas.
I loved this dress so much! It was stretchy and felt so comfortable! It had different textures and was truly unique. I received so many compliments on it! I normally don't wear Women's sizes, so that might be why I felt the dress ran large, but when it comes to sheaths I try to order up because I have huge thighs/butt. This dress fit really well despite that problem area - I had to wear a thick belt around my midsection because it was a bit large there. You could easily wear it to a wedding with cocktail attire or other evening event. The center fabric is a sparkly, shiny silver and the sides are a softer, yet still sparkly black. There is beautiful lace detail at the top of the shoulders. Because I am short the dress fell just at about my knee, but that's the look I prefer. I highly recommend this dress!

I wore this to a holiday party.
The color is so vibrant and beautiful, I really enjoyed it and received many compliments. I wore a bright yellow statement necklace with the dress and it really helped it stand out. The dress was flowy and seemed to run large, other than the sleeves - so if your arms are your problem area, also order a size up. This was a nice fit for me as I have a much larger bottom and it helped emphasize my smaller waist and large bust.

I wore this for a formal evening out for my birthday and I felt very special in this sparkly dress.
The dress was definitely large - I guess I was expecting a regular size 16, but this was definitely a Women's 16. If you're short, it's also a bit long - just below the top of your knee. I would order this dress again, just in a much smaller size. The sequins are arranged in a really nice pattern and aren't really bothersome until many hours later (even then, just a little scratchy). I coordinated with a beautiful pair of earrings and black heels. I'd also recommend a nice black sash if you have one - something like a satin ribbon sash would coordinate better than a belt.
