This dress was adorable and the fit was so flattering. I was worried that it might be too short, but it was fine when standing (mid-thigh). I ended up not choosing it because it was way too short when sitting, and the fabric has absolutely no give. For my event this wouldn't have worked - but if I had been going out dancing all night this would have been 100% perfect. The color is so rich and gorgeous - beautiful with a tan. The bodice/rib area is very fitted but there was still room for the "girls" in an 8 (the larger of the sizes I typically wear). The cut of the skirt was flattering and forgiving if you have some junk in the trunk like i do. I really wish I'd had a good event for this dress during the rental period!

I am between a 6 and 8 usually so I tried both (5'3", 135 lbs, 34D). Went with the 6. This dress has lots of stretch so it's super comfy to dance in, and no worries if you eat dinner. ;) I tried another dress that was shorter and tighter - it was super cute but I am glad I went with this one for the comfort factor. Got lots of compliments on the dress. I did need to wear a strapless bra, and used some fashion tape to keep the shoulders in place. Would have been fine without the tape but I know I would have messed with it all night.
