It was ‘meh’
I couldn’t wear this dress being 5’0. The lace part on the top of the dress was meant to fit for someone taller, and it didn’t fit right on me. The rest of the dress fit great and it wasn’t too long, but on the top I could lift up the lace on top of my shoulders and there would be 3-4 inches of room. I thought I was going to wear this dress but I ended up wearing my backup because of the fit.

Bella Glam!!!
I’m 5’0 and 140 lbs, 32DD, and 40 years old. I got the medium and small, and the medium has too much fabric and didn’t look as good in the mid-drift. The small showed less of the mid drift because it was form fitting instead of sagging. I also put makeup on my middrift area since that area never sees the sun and so it would match the rest of me ☺️ I wore this dress to my brother’s Greek Orthodox Wedding and it was a huge hit. I have A LOT of curves and I was looking for the perfect dress that was grecian looking (as per the theme) but looked good on my body type. I had a couple of backup dresses since I am short and it’s hard to find the right fit, and this was the best one. It turned out to be unexpectedly sexy but still formal enough for a traditional church ceremony. It’s stretchy and has a ton of subtle sparkle without being cheesy. NOTE: You have to pin the zipper. So many reviews stated it falls down, so I was prepared and bought safety-pins before the big day. If I did as much breathe, the zipper would fall down. I had to pin the slit as well. Again, thanks to the reviews I read the slit would be super high so I pinned it so I could actually dance and not be self conscious about being promiscuous looking as a 40 years old mom of two. If you have curves you will be able to see your underwear without pinning it, the slit is really that high! Lastly, get double sided tape. Because the mid-is separated, it will bend upon any kind of movement and show the lining. A little bit of dress prep and I was ready to dance the night away. Tons of compliments all night!!!

Perfect dress for daytime event
I wore this dress for a baptism. It was a gorgeous dress and I got a ton of compliments! You know a dress is great when everyone has something to say about what you are wearing! Definitely a head turner. I wore it for a day time event. It was a hot dress but appropriate enough to wear in church for a baptism and then a formal brunch afterwards at an upscale restaurant. I am very curvy on the bottom and also super short (5'1), and this dress is perfect for those curvy petite girls! I wore it with gold heels and slate and willow drop earrings. Love this dress!!! Definitely a favorite!

This dress was perfect for Christmas Eve at our Greek Orthodox Church. I felt pretty and it was conservative. I just had a baby and it was forgiving. Great dress for a conservative event.

Christmas party delight
You are going to sparkle in this dress! I wore this to my husband's company Christmas party and got compliments all night!! I took a star off because it is a high maintenance dress. The arms stuck to different parts of the dress every time I moved. It is also very short even though I'm only 5'1! I wore black tights and it was a fun dress overall :)

My new favorite dress
Wore this for our Christmas pictures. Got compliments from strangers just walking to my car from breakfast. I thought it might be over the top with its glitz and sparkle, but it was beautiful and perfect. I will be renting slate and willow again. Beautiful and perfect dress!!!

I wore this for my son's baptism and it was perfect. I felt beautiful all afternoon. Tons of compliments. I'm 20 lbs over weight from just having a baby and this was just what I needed to feel pretty and confident. This dress is perfect for a daytime event. My only complaint is it is unforgiving. Should have planned for spanx as others advised. But didn't matter: I just had a baby so I still felt confident even though Indid have a small pooch. I wore the 10. Could have worn the 8 but it smelled weird (like it had been stored in a musty attic) and preferred the fit of the 10 slightly more. It is short relatively speaking but perfect for short girls.

Perfect for the event
I wore this for my son being introduced to our church. It is a perfect dress for a summer Sunday morning. I wore it with gold heels and light pink lipstick and pearl earrings. Compliments all morning :-). I was a size 4 prepregnancy and gained a lot of weight from my pregnancy. I was looking for something that would flatter my pear shaped body and my original shift dress was not flattering with my new curves (especially my hips). I called customer service and there were not too many dresses available that I liked so I took a chance with this one. It was perfect and beautiful. The material/skirt part is a little fussy but if you have confidence just smooth it down and it won't be a problem. I actually really liked the material. Fabulous dress.

I wore this dress to a wedding. It fit okay except it was a little tight in the hip and thigh area, but I usually have that problem so not a big deal. This dress was just 'ok'. The wedding I went to ended up being really formal, so I feel like this dress just didn't have the 'wow' factor I was looking for. It was pretty, but again, lacked a 'wow' factor.

High Maintenance and Kind of Short
Wore for a wedding. Got compliments and had fun. Was really poofy and SHORT and I am only 5'1. Was just 'ok' in my book. People/viewers of the dress seemed to like it a lot more than me. It was a fun dress, I'll give it that.

Tons of compliments
I waited until last minute to buy my dress and this was the only one available. Dress fit okay. I would have preferred a 4 but could get away with wearing a 6. I wore a strapless bra and used a tiny bit of fashion tape to keep my bra from showing where it draped under my arm. I'm pretty short (5'1) and wore 3 inch heels and it was just a tad long, but nothing that anyone would notice. The dress felt pretty plain so I added a statement necklace to dress it up. It shows your curves so I think it would look better on someone more stick thin. Not really my style dress but I received tons of compliments from everyone so I guess it worked out!

Unexpected beauty
I waited last minute to find a dress for a company Christmas party and all my top choices were taken so I settled for this. So glad I did. The lace is classy and the color is festive. I felt like a million bucks in the dress. It is conservative enough for a work gathering but just gorgeous I loved it. The fit was easy too. Definitely would rent again.

This is a great dress. Compliments from everyone. You will look and feel amazing. Color is like a deep blue/purple. It's not as poofy as I thought it was going to be. The poof is very subtle and light weight. It is appropriate for almost any event. You will not be disappointed!

Interesting Choice
I wore this dress to a company holiday party -- it was perfect because it was not glitsy and 'showy', but instead was subtly sexy and form fitting. The V-neck back is perfect, and the cap sleeves are great for pleasing the more conservative folk. I wore it with sheer black panty hose and black suede heels. I also wore red lipstick (Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet in 'La Fascinante'). Loved!

I said the fit runs large because I ordered a 2 and 4 and the 2 fit a little loose. I usually don't wear a 0 but could have. The 2 worked fine though and gave me room to move around and dance! I wore with non-sheer black velvet panty hose and black pumps.
