Short Torso
The last thing a maternity outfit should be is short in the torso. I absolutely loved the material and style, but couldn’t wear this one.

I wore this at 31 weeks for a formal gala in NYC and felt perfectly appropriate and comfy all night. Pockets, an adjustable internal waistband, a deep but also not revealing neckline. Highly recommend for a cool weather event. Great with a metallic block heel and a few accessories.

It’s a skirt
I found this unexpectedly uncomfortable. Perhaps it’s the material of the waistband but the second time I tried to wear it I simply wasn’t into it and changed. I rented this between 24-26 weeks.

Belly band isn’t for me.
I’m a consistent pre-pregnancy 27 at Madewell. Tried these in a 27 and 28 and the Madewell over-belly band simply isn’t for me. It’s not stretchy the way other bands are which led to the jeans feeling like they were slipping off. I couldn’t comfortably leave home in these.

This dress simply wasn’t made for a pregnant body. It was billowy in the top and belly and yet somehow tight in the bottom. It wasn’t doing my backside any favors. Couldn’t wear this one.

Not my style
This dress fit perfectly, but I won’t be wearing it anyway. It’s just too busy in my opinion; blousy shoulders, ruching, etc. It felt a little too 1980’s prom dress for my liking. It’s a bummer because the print of the fabric itself is gorgeous!

This is the most comfortable thing I've worn during pregnancy. It looks polished and work ready for zoom meetings, but loose and comfortable on the bottom. Excellent for a growing baby bump!

I wanted to love this dress so badly, but at 5'5" and 26 weeks pregnant it was just too short to leave the house in. The arms were also a bit tight. A larger size may have helped.

Bizarre cut
I thought this would be fun for late 2nd trimester. The cut is bizarre, and the stitching on the back was not at all flattering. Even at 26 weeks pregnant it hung like a sack. I ended up not wearing.

Cute little dress
A perfect comfy, cotton blend dress for fall or spring. Nothing special, but it was super comfortable around 22-24 weeks. The wrap skirt did tend to fly open in the wind.

The perfect maternity wedding guest dress!
This dress was PERFECT! 25 weeks pregnant, normally a size 2 or 4, the 4R fit perfectly. I used a little fashion tape to keep the straps in place and needed a very low cut bra. Highly recommend for expecting mamas.

Lots of boob, and not enough skirt
I just wish there was more of this dress. The chest was too revealing in my opinion, and the skirt was too tight on my 20 week bump. The fabric has zero stretch or give. Perhaps I needed a larger size, but decided not to bother as I didn't have a clear occasion for this dress.

Normally a 2/4, but 21 weeks pregnant, I tried both the 4 and 8. I was desperate to wear this to a wedding, but gave up. The skirt more than fit, but the chest was SO tight (34C). Even in an 8 it wasn't even close to zipping.
