Wore this to an alumni holiday party. I was worried that it might not be flattering (it's heavy and beaded and not really belt-able) but I was actually pleased with the way it looked in person and in photos, the beads catch the light and make it look really special. It's not exactly slimming, but the drapey-ness makes it work. It is fairly low cut, and I had to double-stick tape it down, which isn't ideal, but not a deal breaker. I was very happy with the quality of the dress, and as far as I could tell it was in great condition considering that it is fully beaded. I got lots of compliments and felt that it was a good choice for a little glitz while still being somewhat understated.

In person, the dress was perfect - comfortable, light, and flattering. I'm about an 8/10, and I wore the Large which fit just fine as I expected this brand to run on the smaller size. I wouldn't have wanted to be any bigger in this "large" because although it is stretchy, the band around the arms and legs at the bottom isn't as much. I really liked this dress but my one issue is that from the waist-up it photographed really well, but in full body shots it just didn't look as good. When a flash hits the lightweight semi-shiny body skimming material you see every single bump. I would wear it again, but I would avoid cameras with flashes, or hide behind my purse! Non-flash pics looked great though.

I rented this dress for a big holiday party with a lot of entertainment biz people at a nightclub in LA. In person the dress seemed sexier than in the photo, which was perfect because I tend to choose overly conservative anyway. From the front appears similar to a business type sheath in pretty cobalt blue, but the black mesh side panels create an illusion that the waist is smaller (LOVE). So then, wow, turn around and the whole back is black mesh with a zipper up the back, that goes all the way to the lower back. I wear an 8 or 10 depending on the hips of the dress. I rented the 10 and felt comfortable in it because the material isn't super thick. I wore Spanx and felt like it was a decent fit throughout, although a tad loose in the top for me at 34B, but I do feel it was true to size. I could have probably worn the 8...but was very comfortable in the 10. I love that this dress was very sexy and yet not a micro-mini!

Rented this for a Vegas girls' weekend, and loved all of the pics so much I found it online and bought it. Basically my favorite dress I've worn all year...just wore it again last weekend. Very flattering, very comfortable, totally sexy, but still a covered-up-ness that make me feel at ease. I don't like to have to tape dresses onto me, or pull them up all night, or down! This dress has no such issues. The fabric is stretchy but has a firmness to it that makes you feel held in, no Spanx needed. Also I love the lace sleeves that make it kind of seasonless... perfect LBD. I wear it with Cobalt blue patent pumps for a fun pop of unexpected color.

Perfect night on the town in Vegas. This dress was super glamorous, and I loved it, lots of glitz but in a toned down bronzy brown shade makes for a more sophisticated upscale look. Still, this dress is quite short. Not a prob for standing, but not great for sitting..had to be very careful with getting in & out of cabs and sitting situations. The small sequins were flattering, and the body of the dress was stretchy and comfortable. I wore it with 6 inch gold satin Fendi platforms and long crystal earrings for the full Beyonce vibe. I recommend sizing up if you are worried about the length, but go true to size if you are very tiny in the waist/hip because this dress had a lot of give. I wear a 8/10 normally, and wore the Large. In a perfect world for me this would have been an inch longer and about an inch less in the waist, but the stretchy inside clings to you and with all of the sequins you really can't tell if it's a little wide technically.

My husband who is an artist LOVED this dress, I don't typically purchase such bold designs (moreso classics) but this is exactly the benefit of renting! The fit was not ideal, but it was good enough. I would think this dress may fit best if you are petite or short-waisted and have either broad shoulders or chest because the dress is very short and I found it riding up, yet the open back means the top needs to be stretched to drape properly, so you may find yourself adjusting here and there. I am short-waisted and broad shouldered, so it worked out okay for me, but I did size up to get as much fabric coverage as possible. The whole thing is stretchy, so I could have worn the 10, or maybe even the 8, but I went with the 12 for this one due to the length. Typically I wear a size 8 or a 10 if it runs small or has no hip room. I had read this dress ran short, so I ordered the 10 & 12 anticipating I'd want more fabric. Basically I would not recommend if you are a long-bodied person or very tall because it's just not long enough. Sitting at dinner I felt I had to cover my lap with my napkin so no-one could tell there wasn't much dress still under me. Overall, super cute, loved the pix, glad I rented it, but also glad I don't own it. Get this one for mostly standing occasions!

I wore this to my fiance's company holiday party in Hollywood, and it was a big hit. I got compliments from lots of people at the party (and I didn't know anyone). Even some women on the street stopped me to ask about my dress! So, you won't go unnoticed in this one. I paired it with opaque black tights, and platform patent stiletto mini-boots, and a black blazer as a jacket. I had planned to keep the jacket on possibly to downplay the dress, but it got really warm in the party, so sparkles were out full force. I'm 5'7 and typically a size 6 or 8, and the Medium fit like an 8 that's got just enough stretch that it clings but doesn't look tight. Like another reviewer mentioned, this dress is actually pretty conservative - it is covered up to the neck and all the way up the back, and it isn't super tight. As sequin dresses go, this one is relatively flattering because of the tiny sequin size. I would recommend this for a holiday party, a girls night out, a fancy party... but probably not for Vegas or dancing at a club (unless you want to be really covered).

This dress fit right in at a southern bridal luncheon. It was comfortable and photographed well. I would agree that it probably runs small up top, I am normally an 8 in fitted dresses (36", 29", 39"), so I ordered a 10 and it fit great everywhere except the belt was a little looser than I would've liked and you can only adjust it so much because it's held together by snap buttons rather than a buckle. The armholes were just right for me in the 10 (my arms kind of "medium" proportion), but I could see where they could be an issue if you ordered a smaller size with larger arms. If you've got model-thin arms, you've got nothing to worry about, so true-to-size might be better if that's the case.

This dress was perfect for a wedding rehearsal dinner. It was really comfortable and chic. Of note: you should definitely get some of that double sided tape for the top, I had some but was still keeping an eye on it all night. It stayed put for dinner, but I wouldn't try to go dancing in this even with tape. I ordered the 44 and 46, both fit because it's stretchy, but I decided to wear the 46 because it's also clingy and I liked it with a little more drape & give and longer in the skirt to be more modest. Had I been in Vegas, maybe the 44... Overall it was really cute, I recommend.

Loved this dress - wore it out to dinner for our anniversary. It was a little slim through the hips - I'm about 36/29/39" depending on the week a little more hip-room is needed (40"), so I went up the size to the 10 and it fit nicely with a padded bra. I could've worn the 8 but it would've pulled a tad in the hip area (and that's never a good look). I'd say it's true to size if you are perfectly proportioned, but go up a size if your hips are even just a little larger.

Wore this dress during SXSW for day to night parties, indoor, outdoor, it was perfect. As soon as I saw it I wished I owned it. It was stretchy and flowy and the colors were very pretty in person, some of my fav pictures are in this dress. The bodice wasn't tight at all, but stayed put - probably because the material is so lightweight. If you aren't very busty you could probably go with your smaller size because that's what holds the dress up. I'm about a size 8 and 34B, but I wouldn't have wanted this dress any larger than the medium I got.

I had gotten another Herve Leger bandage dress once before, so I knew these run a little large. I usually wear a 8/10, and the medium fits well. This wasn't as easy to wear as another black one I rented before, because with a color you can see seams more underneath, so proper undergarments took a couple of experiments. Once I got it sorted out, the dress was great, stylish and comfortable, and the bf loves the smooth curviness.

Loved this necklace - wore it to an evening wedding. I was worried it might be "too much", but I did a really basic dress & shoes, no earrings to tone it down, and I think it came off perfectly chic
