Comfortable but elegant!
I'm typically a size 4 in most brands but opted to go with the backup size in a 2 for a more fitted look. The dress is beautiful in person and photographed really well. The fabric has a really nice drape and feels weightless. This would be the perfect summer wedding guest dress, it's airy and elegant and not at all clingy. Loved this rental.

Back-up style that I didn't end up wearing
Pretty dress, the fabric is very thick and sucks you in like shapewear. I found it to be comfortable but the detail along the front and the low cut back didn't lay quite right, so I ultimately decided against this dress. I had ordered a different dress, and this was a backup style sent to me by rent the runway.

Cute flowy dress for a vintage themed lawn party
Wore this to a Greaty Gatsby themed lawn party. Was fairly comfortable but fit a bit awkwardly around my bust, I wasn't a fan of the overall shape it gave my hourglass frame even with a strapless bra. It felt a little shapeless even with the belt. It was great for the theme but overall I wouldn't rent again. I think this would be really elegant on someone with a smaller chest that doesn't require a strapless bra.

Perfect Engagement Party Dress
This dress is so lovely & was perfect for the occasion - an outdoor summer engagement party. The day of our party was so hot, but this dress helped me to stay cool and look put together all evening. I received so many compliments during the party and my mom told me to go out and purchase it to keep! Would definitely rent this again. It fit true to size throughout my midsection, bust, etc. but the length is a bit long when compared to the photos of the model. I thought it looked great with wedges though.

Perfect little dress for a Church Wedding
This was a back-up style sent to me by RTR when the original style I selected was unavailable but I ended up loving this dress so much. It was perfect for the traditional Catholic Mass I attended, but also great for the outdoor cocktail hour/dinner at the tail end of summer. The embroidery is so pretty in person, and photographs really well. I typically order a 4 with a 6 as a back-up, but wore a size 2 in this. I would suggest ordering your normal size and size down for the back-up.

Form Fitting Stunner
Loved the look of this dress, but it definitely fits like a glove. I'm typically a 4 in most styles, & order a 6 as my backup size. The 4 fit well when I was standing but was a bit uncomfortable to sit in for dinner, RTR didn't have the 6 available to ship for my order. Would be curious to try on the 6 to compare. Overall, I think this dress is great if you're looking for an hourglass shape!

Compliments all evening
Beautiful dress, my second Marchesa Notte rental and this one got me so many compliments all evening. I am almost always a 4, but in Marchesa Notte I've gone with a 2. The tulle illusion neckline is a bit itchy, but overall a comfortable dress that I didn't want to take off. Received compliments all night from women of all ages - it's stunning in person.

Beautiful and Comfortable Dress for a Night of Dancing!
While this wasn't the original dress I requested, which suddenly became unavailable a week before my event, I am really glad I was sent this style. Like other reviewers have noted, this dress does seem to run a bit large so I wish I had originally requested a size 2 and a size 4 for comparison, rather than my usual size 4 and back up size of 6. However, the 4 didn't feel boxy, and was actually quite comfortable. I wouldn't say the fabric is stretchy, but it does have some give and drapes really nicely. I was able to wear a racerback bra without the straps popping out, although I packed fashion tape just in case. I wore this to a surprise wedding that was billed as an engagement party, and it was perfect for a night of dancing. The slit is high but doesn't feel revealing, except for maybe during the sit down dinner portion of the night - I was glad I had a big linen table napkin to drape over my lap! Received lots of compliments and felt great in this dress. Would totally rent again for the right occasion.

Perfect combo of elegant and fun!
Really loved wearing this dress, wish I could keep it! Rented it for a work function. I rented the Small with a Medium as my back-up size. The Small was snug but comfortable as the fabric has a slight bit of stretch to it, so I went with that. The medium also looked nice, so I would suggest sizing up for the back-up size if you're looking for something slightly less body skimming. Received several compliments throughout the night. I wore a large cocktail ring and sparkly necklace, but I could see so many accessories working really well with this garment. The ruffled hemline adds the perfect amount of visual interest to elevate this dress from a basic LBD. Would totally rent again.
