First off dress is beyond gorgeous. I literally was complimented every two minutes. The pictures don't do it justice. It really was grand. Now on to the cons. The dress's construction was horrible. I originally ordered a 6, my normal dress size, in black. When I had to zip it up the back it wouldn't budge. Thankfully RTR shipped me this as a replacement. I went up two sizes to ensure the fit. Trying to zip up was a tragedy. I thought it was my body until I took off the dress and couldn't zip it up with ease period. I'm not sure if that was an individual dress issue or in general. Since it was a mermaid style it was super tight by the knee. Because I went up so many sizes it was bulky around the waist. The back was extremely tight and smushed my chest down. All in all I captivated all wearing it but I was so uncomfortable. Hope my review helps the next lovely lady.

I was a little nervous because the other reviews everyone that wore my size were drastically smaller than me. I also was on a time crunch and ordered two days before my event. Despite it I ordered my traditional size 6. It fit perfect. I'm 5ft 2 and 170lbs. So for anyone petite with a thicker frame this is a great compliment. I was attending a Harlem Nights 20's themed Kappa gala. This outfit made a statement.
