Comfy and flattering!
Absolutely LOVED this dress! From the color to the fit, it was an overall winner. The open back was a surprise, but mostly covered by the fun cape. I pinned the strap on the dress that goes over your bra strap like some of the other renters did, and that worked well. If you're thinking about renting this one, do it!

My favorite dress of all - find an excuse to rent!!
I absolutely loved this Slate & Willow dress - seriously one of my favs from RTR ever! I rented this for a wedding and felt so comfortable all night - sitting, standing, dancing. Beautiful pattern and fit, though definitely size up as the torso portion doesn't have much to give. If you are thinking about renting this one, do it! I want to keep this one!

Beautiful lace, fun cut-out!
Beautiful lace dress with lots of room to stretch (super comfy!). Loved the fun cutout in the back of the dress! Definitely ran small for those who are larger in the lower half like me, but the stretch helped - I was able to move and dance all night. I have broader shoulders/arm and definitely didn't feel restricted, which was a pleasant surprise. I would have liked to see more structure with the dress, as the dress does not hide any flaws (cutout is high enough to wear spanx), but overall I'm very happy with my rental!

Awesome and super comfortable dress to stand out in Vegas!
Loved this dress - wore it in Vegas and stood out in a sea of black. It ran small for me since I have larger hips, so I'm happy that I got the larger backup size, even though it's super stretchy. It was really comfortable, and I didn't need to keep pulling it down throughout the night. Fabric is thick - I didn't feel like it was too warm, and I appreciated the fact that everything was smoothed out. If you want to try something different like I did, pick this dress!!!

Super comfortable - sad to see this one go!
I was nervous about the fit, as my backup size wasn't available but I was so pleasantly surprised at how much I loved this dress! I have broader shoulders and did not feel restricted by the armholes on this dress (as opposed to other lace dresses). The material was a little thicker, so I was happy the weather was a bit cooler. Felt amazing and got many complements..if you're thinking about renting this one - do it!!

The best dress. Was not looking forward to sending it back
This dress is so perfect. I have wide shoulders so I went up a size, but otherwise everything else fit perfectly (there was not much different in the two sizes except for chest/arms). If you are thinking about renting this dress DO IT!

Great dress- Can be dressed up or down, and it has pockets!
Thought this was a great dress for a daytime baby shower..Loved the colors! I paired it with a sweater, skinny black belt, black tights and heels for the occasion, but can definitely do well on its own. I gave it 4 stars because the zipper in the back was a little hard to zip up by yourself, but overall a great, versatile and comfortable dress! Loved having the pockets to keep my phone handy for pics. The skirt is very full and could be problematic for curvy body types, but I thought wearing higher heels balanced it out well. Customer service is always great, and my dress even arrived 2 days early!

First choice that turned into backup dress
I loved the dress, but it didn't feel right for me. Thick material is perfect for the winter and for covering any imperfections, but the arms were very snug and a little long. I'm normally a size 6, but the 8 fit better due to snug fit in the arms. My friend (who is taller and has longer arms) wound up wearing this dress while I wore my backup dress.

Perfect alternative to a LBD on NYE!!!
This was actually a last minute add-on back up dress for me, and it turned into my first choice dress very quickly (my friend wore my original first choice :) ). I love the style, fit and color of this dress! I wore this on new years eve and i did not feel restricted by the dress at all-i could move and dance very well in it. The dress is a good, modest length, and the lace detail is beautiful! All of my insecurities were hidden (arms, stomach) but thought it still hugged the body and gave me shape in a classy way. I wore with black tights and black heels due to snow and cold temperatures, but it wound up to be perfect. Customer service is great - very patient and helpful, even when I kept changing my mind in the days leading up to my event! The NYE headband was such a fun added bonus too! I brag about RTR to everyone! :)

the dress fit perfectly. i couldn't be happier with my choice to use rent the runway!
the fit was true to size, there is a little clip to hold your bra strap in place...not much to complain about this dress. I recommend sizing up instead of down for the second size. I got so many compliments and will definitely rent again!!!!
