Classic Black Dress
Classy and comfortable work to dinner black dress. Sheer detail at chest gives it a little extra style, though be sure to wear a nude bra.

Nice, But Too Short for Work
Typical Carven - nice quality and order 1 size up from your normal US sizing if you want breathing room. A 38 fit great. Ordered for work but should have read the reviews; like others have said, the hemline makes it too short for most daytime office environments, even on me (5' 3"). May wear it for a date night. IMO would be fine but a bit too boring for a wedding.

Cute for Date; Not for Work
Rented for work but even with sizing up it is definitely inappropriate so wore it for a date night instead. Very short and hugs curves. My husband liked it. Like others have said, runs small so size up at least 1 size, preferably 2.

So Sweet - Runs Small in Waist
Very sweet and summery. Good for little waists. I have a long, average-sized torso/ribcage and could barely zip it up/breath where the seam hit. It otherwise fit perfectly but had to send it back. Will try the next size up and see how it goes.

Cute - Best for Small-Bottomed Girls
Flirty, cute, different design for summer. I like how it is a v-neck but not super low cut. The material is thin and prone to wrinkles and has slightly more of a sheen to it than in the photos. Ordered my usual Carven size (38), which is a size up from my typical US size (4). Looked fine but felt a bit ill-fitting...much looser up top and a bit tighter on the bottom than other Carven. It would be good for the straight and narrow body type like the model and ideal for someone with a large chest and small bottom.

Cute - But Beware of the Zipper!
I wear a US size 4 but ordered a European size 38 (which RTR equates to a 6), which fit perfectly. This dress has very thick material with no give and a tiny (faulty) zipper. I actually ordered it twice - the first time, it came and I couldn't get the zipper up (before trying it on) so I sent it back. The second time, the zipper was just insanely difficult to unzip so I had to put the dress on over my head with the zipper up and get my husband to unzip it at the end of the day. Could be uncomfortable if you have a large chest (and you might get stuck). Otherwise, very cute green color and shape. Side slits higher than expected.

Loved It - Had to Buy!
Very classy and figure-flattering. Has some shape but covers any flaws. Scalloped edges are very unique. Nice comfortable fabric. I am small-chested and could see that the neck area could be a little tight for those with a bigger chest or upper-body. My favorite RTR Unlimited rental - had to keep it!
