Pretty but not quite right
I chose my size based on the reviews. Normally, I am a size US8 maybe US10 depending on the material and stretch. But neither size fit and were too big. I think maybe a US6 would have fit perfect. Heavyweight, beautiful dress and color, but straps were kind of loose and they're not adjustable. They kept falling off of my shoulders, and I didn't feel supported at all. Making them adjustable probably would've made a world of a difference. I ended up going with my back up dress instead of this style.

Adorable dress, wore to work cocktail party
Dress fit like a glove. This was my back-up choice and I'm so glad I added it to my cart. It's short, but as long as you don't have to bend over you should be fine. I forgot to bring mini biker shorts and didn't feel uncomfortable. Lots of compliments. Heavy dress as everyone has mentioned but great quality. I ironed it a bit before my event to give it a crisper look. Would totally buy this dress.

Gorgeous dress, and got compliments as soon as I walked into my company’s Christmas party. Thought it was sexy but still somewhat work appropriate. As others have said, there’s not much give to the dress, absolutely no stretch, so while I may normally wear a medium, I did choose the large. Others have also suggested you can unzip the bottom of the skirt in the back to make it easier to walk, but I kept it completely zipped and was OK. I have other items with this designer, and they’re all beautiful pieces that are well crafted. Definitely worth the rental.

Chose another dress, but this was a great backup.
Being that this was my first RTR rental I wanted to be sure if my first choice didn't fit properly that I rented a 2nd dress that was more forgiving. After reading the reviews and how stretchy and comfortable this dress is, I thought it was a good backup. I was right. While my 1st choice ended up fitting perfectly, this dress was extremely comfortable and forgiving. I am 5'4", about 145lb with an hourglass/athletic build and I loved the way it accentuated my curves. I also tried this dress on with 3" heels and it hit just perfectly an inch or so above the ground. Not too long or short. Great choice for a comfortable, sexy dress.

LOVED this dress. It was classy yet rock and roll with the chain detail which is right up my alley. I received the 42R and the 40L and while I wish there was a size in between I ended up wearing the 42R which fit very comfortably. I'm 5'4" and about 145lb with an hourglass/athletic build. I wore this dress with a shorter heel than normal for comfort, about 3", and the dress fell perfectly. Not too long and not too short. I wanted to rent a designer dress as I know they are just cut better than a cheaper "pretty" dress and I can definitely say I am sold on RentTheRunway.
