Elegant and fun!
I would have rather worn a size 0 as it was a rather roomy fit, but I made it work by using a belt. Loved that it had pockets and was very comfortable!

Tried it on but didn't wear
I ordered the 2R. This dress is even more beautiful in person and is clearly very tailored so it fit well, however, the material bunched up in the tummy area quite a bit when I tried sitting down, which was why I sadly did not wear it. I can understand why other reviewers called this dress matronly, but I'll add that it really depends on the occasion.

Perfect for Derby!
i wore it to the Kentucky Derby. I had no issues with the straps, despite other reviews suggesting it may be an issue. I am larger in the hips and still had plenty of room. My only complaint is the center seam shifted to the left when i walked which was not ideal but the dress was ultimately very flattering and comfortable to wear.
