I rented this dress for a summer wedding in New Hampshire and it was perfect! Definitely good for shorter people- the dress would be too short for heights above 5'6'' or so. It has more of a gold sheen to it in person- much prettier than what's pictured online. The fabric is extremely soft and comfortable for wearing all day/night. I'm usually a 6-8, and the medium fit perfectly.
