I was panicked after a size 16 didn't fit and had to select two replacements. Very little was available so I ordered this. I liked the fabric when it came in, but my husband said it looked like an old lady's couch. Either way, it was way too big.

I normally wear at 14. I ordered a 16 in a dress that I really liked. When that didn't fit, I was stuck scrambling for something else. So this was already "2nd place in the beauty pageant". I didn't have time to buy a dress, so I ordered an even larger size in this--an 18. It was huge. We did a pin-and-tuck alternation. I went to the event. The slit was the best feature. I was there as a +1. If you want to NOT shine and let your date shine, this is a good dress. You'll blend into the background of tuxes and other shiny things. "Appropriate" but not pretty.

I measured twice and sized up. I thought I'd be okay and was worried about it being too big or maybe tight in the arms. Nope. It was fine everywhere except right under the bust. Of course, there wasn't an alternate size available and none of the other formals available had sleeves and/or were of lesser quality/price, so the event was a disappointment.
