Rent the set
I didn't rent the set but think it would've been much cuter with the matching top. I still loved wearing these shorts though. They were just the right length for my age.

This dress fits very well and is true to size. I see how it could be pretty short in taller girls, though. It's easy to dress up with heels or down with sneakers.
