Size up
I had just rented a very similar dress by the same designer in my regular size 8 and that dress fit great. So, I had high confidence in this rental. Alas, quite short and tight from the waist down. I'll probably try a size up later in the summer because other than fit it's an adorable dress.

Adorable set
I wore these shorts twice, pleasantly surprised they stayed relatively wrinkle free, especially for linen. Good pockets! Consider nabbing the matching top if you can for an elevated casual look. Can dress up or down, I threw on a cream colored belt and paired with a loose knit top layer to break up the monotone when I wanted to.

Printed old money, especially with the matching linen shorts. Fitted and lined, if my chest were any bigger I'd need to size up. Didn't wrinkle much even though linen. Wore to Napa Valley wine tastings, many compliments.

Small! I am consistently and comfortably a 29 and my dress size trends a bit smaller. I expected this dress to be comfortable and it was quite small. Will rent again a size (or two!) up to give the casual look I was going for when I rented.

Transition season essential
This is a well constructed dress, heavier/slinkier than I originally expected! Great from warm to cool or vice versa. The length is also longer than I expected, works well for me with average leg lengths but may be an issue for someone on the more petite side.

Buttons were fun
This is a cropped cardigan, the buttons up the front and on the sleep make it so versatile. Slight puff to the sleeve cap, not as dramatic as the picture on RTR made it seem to me. Would gladly rent again. Worn with RTR Joes Jeans track pants.

I'm normally a medium / 8 top and sized down to 6. I could have probably sized down again if I was wanting a more fitted look. That said, this is a great blouse. Good length even for a long torso like mine (although may be a problem for a short torso) and interesting tuxedo detail that helps it stand apart from a basic white button down. I'd be happy to rent again.

I like this vest! Especially paired with this tuxedo style blouse, also from RTR. Was not a fan of the pants (see my separate review) but would rent this vest again. Because of the sparkle I would pair with a more muted black slacks to dress for work or even jeans to dress down. The buttons around my ribcage were hard to button at first but felt fine once buttoned.

SPARKLY
First, I admit, I did not listen. When you all said this was a sparkly ensemble it didn't show much in the RTR photos and I dismissed the feedback because I REALLY wanted to wear this outfit. That was a mistake. I could have figured skated in the Olympic trials with this pair of pants. I can't wear this to work. I did love the sleek lining, felt high quality. I especially disliked that my bit o'tummy made the zipper flap pop out, causing an unsightly bulge. If I had sized up they would have been too big anywhere else. Sent back unworn.

Well constructed, keeps shape
Pic taken after wearing this crisp white blouse all day and it still looks sharp. The tulip style bottom gives you the option to keep un-tucked while still looking put together. Slight ruching at the ribs keeps a feminine shape. If not so expensive I would have purchased as a closet staple.
