cutouts are not cute
okay first off this has pockets!! which almost makes up for the fact that the way the waist is constructed makes the cutouts basically just windows for your ribcage to ooze out of. It should be so flattering and yet - not at all. It looks like somebody slashed two holes under the boobs. If I went up a size the bust would be too big, but at least the waist might not gap. Just baffling.

just truly too short to wear anywhere
the dress actually fits pretty well overall - makes my small boobs look amazing - and the sleeves are super cute; it's honestly cuter than the pictures. Unfortunately I'm 5'5" and it *barely* makes it past my ass in the back, and the hem is maybe a five inches below my crotch in the front. The faintest of breezes would move this skirt enough to show passersby *everything*. So, that's fun. Maybe if you're 5"1' it'll work for you. If not I'd steer clear.

fitted weirdly - avoid if you have hips
I had mediocre hopes for this dress tbh and it still disappointed them. The pattern is straight-up ugly, and the fitting just doesn't work if you have a small waist and larger hips. It does you no favors - the fabric of the skirt pulls weirdly when you move and really highlights any hint of curve to the lower belly. It's very long, weirdly long from the shoulders to empire waist as well, and just a generally unprepossessing garment. Going to swap asap

didn't have an 8, which would've been about perfect (thick thighs save lives); the 10 is definitely too big (everywhere, but mostly in the waist; wish the elastic was a little more snug, it might've worked). Hips are about right, though, so if you have a smaller waist and bigger hips I'd go up one size

RTR recommended a medium for me and only the small was left - looking at it on the hanger I was like, "there's no way." but it fit and looks super cute on! pockets big enough for a phone!

very tight & unflattering
was hoping this would be looser like on the model - that's probably on me for not sizing up. But tbh the wash is really ugly and the cut of the skirt isn't doing anyone any favors either (very straight up and down)
