This dress was PERFECT for the black tie wedding I attended in Newport. It looked so elegant and I received countless compliments. Guests came up to me at the end of the night and said "You got best dressed in my book!". For styling.. this dress is an A+++. The fit however is small which is why I didn't give the dress 5 stars. I have a 38 DDD bust which makes it hard for me to wear tailored dresses. I am a 10/12 on the bottom and 14 on top. I rented the 14R and 16R as a back up (thank god). The 14R was way too tight on the bust but fit fine on the waist. The 16R fit the same as the 14R on the waist and had just enough room on the top for my bust. I couldn't wear a bra but felt secure. This is the first strapless dress that came up high enough and stayed all night. I danced the night away and never had a nip slip. I am 5'6" and the length was perfect for 3" heels and I didn't drag too much when I changed into flats. Also, it was a good thing the 16R fit because the 14R had a stain on it.

I rented this as a back up and I am glad that I didn't need to wear it. Overall, it is a pretty dress and very flattering but it would be better suited for a bridesmaid rather than a guest. Also, the zipper would not go up where the fabric gathered at the waist. I had plenty of room with the 14 but the zipper was getting stuck every time. It was even tough to zip on the hanger! I'm 5'6" and rented the 14R because the 14L was not available. I could have worn flats with the 14R... If I wore heels it would have been just a tad short.

I love, love, love this dress and wish I owned it. I have a very large bust (38DDD/F) and it is extremely difficult to find dresses that fit properly. I am 5'6" and ordered a 14L which was perfect with heels. I even changed into flats to dance and it wasn't crazy long. The waist band is a pretty snug but not uncomfortable. Make sure you have someone to help you zip! The zipper is tiny and it is hard to zip at the waist band because of the ruched fabric. The chiffon is flowy and gorgeous but be careful when you walk. I stepped on the dress by mistake as I walked up a flight of stairs and my heel punctured a little hole in the bottom. I initially freaked out but when I took a closer look at the bottom there were a few spots that had already been mended so I knew I wasn't the first. The length and pattern camouflaged the little rip and no one noticed. Overall this dress is FANTASTIC and I would recommend to all.

I ordered this dress for a Summer Newport (RI) wedding, but it was too small in the bust. The dress has the normal amount of room throughout the natural waist but the top is definitely meant for a small to average cup size. I am a 38D+ and could not even come close to zipping it all the way. The dress itself was beautiful! The detailing on the neck was very well done and I thought the fabric had a nice weight and quality.
