This dress was spectacular! It was a hybrid flamenco dancer/princess dream in just the right shade of red: not too dark, not too bright. I would highly recommend getting this more than a day ahead of the event. The tulle needs a little bit of steaming - the silhouette is fantastic once the wrinkles are gone. It's great to be able to wear a regular bra underneath; the neckline is not too low, either. Great find, I would recommend this dress without any reservation.

The material of this dress is stunning. I may not have been able to wear it due to fit problems, but that didn't stop me from noticing the merits of this outfit. The cut is edgy and fun, especially with the bubble skirt. It's lightweight and the colors catch the light beautifully. An alternate size was unavailable, but I look forward to renting it in the future.

This was the first dress I rented made by this designer. After wearing this one, I rented another dress from the same line and I am happy to be the poster child! The lace is gorgeous and had a vintage feel to it, without looking like a throw back from the Victorian era. I read some of the reviews about the tulle needing attention, but both the dresses I received were beautifully pressed and ready to go. My regular size 6 had a tad bit more room and added unnecessary bulk, although it was quite comfortable. I got the smaller back up size and it fit like a glove. I rediscovered my waist :) and the tulle was exceptionally light but not sheer. Since there was dancing and fun twirling involved, I decided to wear the appropriate undergarment, just in case. I would highly recommend this dress, without any reservations.

First, the few things that didn't quite work: I typically wear a size 6 or 8. The size 6 was all around too large. The back up size 4 fit well, but the cut out on the back of the dress inadvertently created a bit of an unseemly fold on the sides, around the trunk. It wasn't bad - but it just didn't feel comfortable having that section fall away a bit instead of staying pressed to the waist. I probably could have fixed it with some fashion tape but didn't have the time. So I had to return it and use one of my own dresses. I explained the situation to an RTR staff and was assured a credit for it. On the other hand, the color of this dress is fantastic. The fabric is medium weight, but does not add bulk. The skirt is cut beautifully and it retains its flared-shape. I could see how it would make the waist seem smaller, had it fit better.

The demure neckline and lovely lace struck the right note for a formal evening event. The dress' clean silhouette had just enough tulle at the hem and it added unexpected sassiness and fun! It may bunch up around the waist and hip area if you get your regular size and have a short torso. I'm glad I got a smaller back up size. The fit may have been a bit more snug than what I usually wear, but it had a slimming effect all over and the length was perfect.
