Too big
I sized down, as I know with Zoe I'm normally a 2. However it still just wasn't small enough, and I doubt the 0 would have left me enough room in the arms. When I stood sideways, so much fabric hung from my front and back that it looked awkward. That compared with the sleeves was too much for my body. I tried tucking it in, but couldn't get the proportions right. I did love the neckline, and the quality and styling of the top is really cute. It just didn't look right on me.

High quality top (not a comfy sweater)
So long as you know this isn't a cozy sweater, you won't be disappointed. What a treat to be able to wear a Marni piece as part of my every day wardrobe. This sweater with sparkly dots is such a trendy piece that is really effortless to style. I didn't find it to be itchy, and the fit was perfect for me. I loved the higher neckline. I work it to work, and am wearing it out again tonight! I love it! I wish I owned it (omg SO expensive)

Like all derek lam, I ordered the 2 instead of my normal 4. I ordered this top in clearance and it arrive WITH TAGS ON IT. I was thrilled. thank you RTR! I love you! The top is cute. I rented a similar style with a different top fabric. The seam at the center doesn't quite lay flat, but I'm going to try steaming it or pining it, and think with a few wears it'll settle. overall a gorgeous top, happy with my first clearance purchase.

A bit too boxy for my petite frame
I'm going to try wearing this today. I feel like the xs might have looked a bit better, but even the small was a bit tight on my hips. Overall, it's a great look and cute coat, it is just a tad too boxy on me and looks somewhat strange in the midsection when zipped. Just one of those cuts that looks better on someone who isn't petite. Nice quality, though.

Beautiful color, too small for my needs
Really loved this bag, but it was just to small for my needs - I should have looked more closely at the sizing. It wasn't a large enough tote to fit my laptop and work essentials, and a bit too large to keep to use as a weekend shop-around bag for me. That being said, it's high quality leather, well constructed and a really unique color. I did love it, just didn't work for my needs.

Perfect for work, casual, anything!
I always find a 2 fits me better in Derek Lam tops (I am usually more of a 4 in tops, and wear a 34c). This was flowy and fit pretty perfect! I am petite so I didn't have an issue with the cropped front (5'1"), but could see it being too short for work for taller ladies. I really liked the print - it reminded me of a Suno dress I had rented last year. Also, 100% silk makes it super comfortable and soft to wear. Will be renting again! Definitely something that I wish I owned.

Gorgeous, flattering and far too long for petites!
I wore this for a black tie wedding. I fell in love with the unique cut of the dress, and found it to be really flattering on my waist. I usually wear more fit-and-flare style dresses, but really enjoyed this fit and received many compliments. I am a true 4, and the 4 fit well. You need a strapless bra, but I went braless, as the ruffles cover your breasts completely. The only issue is the length...yes, the issue all petite girls have for black tie rentals. I've never rented a long gown for this reason. I wore 5.5 inch platform heels, and the dress was still an inch too long (I am 5'1"). I was in a pinch, and I ended up pinning them hem up, inside, to the slip of the dress. In all I used about 20 safety pins...and honestly, NO ONE noticed! It looked amazing. Girls really got a kick when I lifted the hem up. For this reason, I wouldn't rent it again, but I loved it for the night. Go for it if you're taller than me!

LOVED this.
I rented this for Christmas dinner with my family, and loved it so much I wore it to work, too. It was a thick fabric that I had not worn before, and looked perfect with leggings. The shimmer was a fun touch, and overall I felt the shirt was quite classy. A child at work even told me "Ms, that shirt looks expensive". =).

Didn't work for me.
This shirt just didn't work for me. It hung rather large on my frame, and did not flatter my body in any way. It seemed like I needed a smaller size, xs, but I imagine the slight gaping at the buttons at the breast I was having would be a lot worse, or there would be pulling. The shirt itself is quite pretty, with lovely fabric and a unique shape, but it didn't work for me and I didn't wear it. I imagine it might work on someone with a smaller chest, or taller.

True to size, pockets, what more could you want?
As with other Halston dresses I've rented, the 4 fit me perfectly. I loved the cut of this dress, and received many compliments on it. The fabric is shimmery without being too sparkly. I wore this for NYE, but would definitely wear it to an event, wedding, etc. Loved this rental!

Really liked this unique sweater. While it is more of an "oversized" look, the small fit me perfectly, was almost a tad cropped, and was fairly flattering. I didn't find it too itchy, but wore a t-shirt as a base layer just in case. I wore it to work, and am planning on making some other weekday plans to have an excuse to wear it again. Definitely my favorite RTR sweater so far!

I wish I got a 2. The 4 was just a bit loose around the waist, and I didn't feel like it was the most flattering fit for me. At 5'1", it hit me right at the knee, and with the looser-fit sleeves it looked just a bit off on me. It is a very, very pretty dress, with a bit of a glimmer, and perfect to wear to work and then out after. Very pretty, I was disappointed it wasn't a better fit for me!

Fun fit, modern look, comfort all night - beware of hem!
I love this dress and the understated design. I chose to pair it with platform, pink suede heels, and a zac posen handbag. I felt awesome all night. The 4 fit me perfectly, it was a tad snug in the chest (34C), so larger chests might need to size up. The only issue with this dress is the hem. As others have noted, the hem falls, revealing the lining and ruining the look of the dress. It seems like the lining is too long/heavy. To fix this, I pinned the liner of the dress on either side, just above the waist, lifting it up so that the hem stayed as it was meant to. You NEED to pin it, simply ironing it will not fix the problem. This fixed the problem, the pins did not bother me all night, and it looked ama

I sized down to a 2 from a 4, based on the cut of the shirt. I was right! The 2 fit ok, I felt like I could have even gone down to a 0. The look is supposed to be loose, though, so the 2 was good. The lace panels are open and you could see my bra - I rocked it for the weekend, but weekday you definitely need a tank under. Also, I had to pin the part by my breasts, as there weren't many buttons and it opened up quite a bit when sitting. Overall, a fine piece to pop into my weekend rotation, but nothing super special.

Perfect Fit, Perfect Look
I love this dress. The fit is so flattering, the cut of the dress is super flattering and fit my petite 5'1" frame perfectly. I love this dress. High quality, flattering...I wore it to my work gala and felt amazing and confident all night. Very flatting for my figure, made my waist look small. Yes, it is very low cut. My girlfriend and friends thought it looked "classy sexy", but for work I opted to wear a black lace bandeau over my regular bra to reduce cleavage. Had it not been for a work event, I absolutely would have worn the dress as is, and felt amazing. The only issue I had, is I found the sleeves to be tight and couldn't comfortably lift my arms up all the way. So I wouldn't say you can dance the night away, but you can absolutely look fabulous.

Bodice did not fit well
The dress is beautiful. When I first put it on, I was thrilled. Yet, once I moved around, I discovered what others had written is true - the bodice/breast part is far too big. I have larger breasts, a full 34C, and even in the size 2 I didn't fill out the top. The only thing that worked is kind of clipping the back straps together more tightly to then tighten the top (thus changing the look of the back). In the end I opted to not wear the dress. It's a shame because the dress is truly gorgeous, classic and conservative with an edge.

In LOVE WITH THIS. It definitely had been wore and loved before I received it, but I was still happy with the overall quality. The 4 fit me perfectly. I wore this to my work gala, then to a daytime brunch fundraiser, out on the weekends, and to work. This blazer is standout and elevates any outfit you are wearing. I sent it back for fear that I would never return it and keep it forever. Now, I'm missing it!

I have had this bag for almost two weeks now, as part of my first unlimited order. It arrived looking brand new, I think it was! It is large enough for me to fit my workout clothes, sneakers, coffee mug, etc. There are two inner pockets for smaller things - phone, keys. The only issue I had, is to wear it as shown in the picture it is far, far too long for my 5'1" frame. The great thing about is, it that the handle threaders through the bottom, allowing you to wear it on your shoulder, and show case the beautiful top of the bag. Also, my favorite part is this little sneaky zipper pocket on the side where I can keep my metrocard. Love it. Will be sad to send it back.

I got this skirt in my unlimited order. It fit perfectly, true to size, and felt comfortable. The look wasn't right for me though, the skirt was very long and hit me at my ankles.
