Runs small
Ordered the 6 for a re-rental since last time I got the 8 and I have gone down a dress size since then. Should have stuck with the 8 as this runs small (I also forgot how short it is -- if you're tall, beware!)

Short sleeves
Torso fit TTS, but the sleeves were too short -- easily solved by rolling them up, but something to be aware of! Liked this as a twist on a more basic button-up

True to size and LONG for the tall gals
Really loved this dress. I found it to be true to size, though the top was slightly loose, which is saying something since I usually find clothing to be tight in the shoulder/bust area (I used wardrobe tape to make sure the sleeveless side didn’t slip down too much and that did the trick). I was worried the dress might fall at a weird length given how it looked in the image, but at 5’9” and with 3”ish heels, it fell perfectly to the floor — I actually had to hold it up when walking to avoid tripping. Additionally, I was worried the slit might be a bit high, but in the end I found it to be at a good length where I was not worried about accidentally revealing too much.

Perfect bachelorette party dress
This is not the type of dress I'd normally pick as someone who lacks the curves to pull off more fitted silhouettes, but I decided to step outside my comfort zone for my bachelorette and I'm so glad I did! I probably should have sized up (I'm between an 8 and 10 these days), but I'm glad I went with the 8 since the snugness gave me the illusion of a waist I don't actually have (the Spanx didn't hurt either). It fit like a glove and I felt great wearing it (it does have some stretch to it so while it was tight, I wasn't worried about busting a seam).

Gorgeous dress! Felt like a model
This was perfect for a black-tie optional wedding. It fit snuggly (it seems I'm right between a size 8 and 10 these days, and I ordered the 8), but I prefer a tight fit over any gapping fabrics. The nice part about it is that it is such a structured dress I didn't have to wear a bra which is always a plus in my book!

Top was not flattering, but repurposed as a skirt and it was cute
The style of the top made it impossible to avoid a "uniboob" effect, which I could not get past (though I did wear it once just to try it out). I was feeling experimental and decided to fold the top in to make a skirt which worked out pretty well for a night out for dinner with my in laws. Did love the color and the concept, but would probably work better on someone with a flatter chest.

Fun to wear
Loved this dress! As someone with broader shoulders and narrower hips, this is the perfect shape for me. The only reason I took away one star is the back was kind of bunchy due to the way the tie straps/gathered fabric works, which took away from the side-profile silhouette, but it looked great from the front. The skirt has a nice weight to it that gives it a high-quality feel and great movement when you wear it without being clingy. Was a little snug in the bodice, but I think that's more due to me not knowing my size (it seems I'm somewhere between an 8 and 10 these days based on my other rentals), but I prefer a tailored fit over and it was not uncomfortably tight.
