I rented this jacket to wear for evenings out - dinner and drinks, evening wedding reception - whilst on vacation in Southern California in the Spring. This fit the bill perfectly. The leather is really soft, it’s not bulky/heavy and the finish is high quality. The Peter Pan collar is really unusual on a leather jacket, and I got lots of people complimenting it and asking the name of the brand. I’m around a US size 8 and have a bigger bust, but was able to fasten the jacket comfortably in the Medium size. I would highly recommend.

I used RTR for the first time, as I was flying in from Europe to attend my brother’s wedding in California. I’m not very familiar with US sizing, but I’m usually a size 12 in the UK or 40 in EU sizing. This would generally put me at around an 8 in US sizing, but based on the recommendations I sized down to a 6. The fit recommendations were perfect, the dress did not feel too tight or too loose. The dress comes in one length. I’m 5’4” and wore the dress with 3” heels, which was just right. The fabric is thick with a little stretch, which along with the ruching, covers any lumps and bumps quite well. I wore it on a sunny Spring day in Southern California and felt fine, but on a hotter day the weight of the fabric may have been too much. The full back and thick straps meant that I could wear a bra (a must for me!) without worrying about the straps or band being exposed. The square neckline is really flattering, but does cut low for some fuller cup bras. I opted to wear it with a Skims seamless sculpt brief body suit, which lifted and nipped in all the right places without being visible. The thigh slit is fun, but it’s low enough to not be outrageous, which was also important for a family wedding. Paired with the flare detail alongside the split, it added a fun bit of drama and movement to the dress. The quality of the fabric and detailing was very high. I felt super glam in it without sacrificing my comfort, and received lots of compliments. I was tempted to purchase it, but I wouldn’t have anywhere else to wear. I would definitely encourage others to try it.
