Pictures don't do it justice. Dress tape is your best friend.
LOVED this dress. I questioned it about 500 times before it got here but when I tell you I had ZERO REGRETS. In between sizes - go up for backup bc the material has no give. 4 was tight on my ribs, but it was totally tolerable for an evening. Straps were slightly long but I didn't feel bothered by it bc I taped the front. Bigger than a C-cup, I could see this being uncomfortable, depending on how "out there" you prefer to be. Dress tape is your BFF. I wore pasties but honestly didn't need to.

Beautiful and versatile!
I rented this bracelet for my bridal shower. I would say my wrist size is average, and it was the perfect size. It bothers me to have bracelets "hang" on my wrist, so I pushed it a few inches up my forearm where it would be snug but still totally comfortable. It looked great and I would have forgotten I was wearing it if it didn't catch my eye every time I looked down! I ended up wearing it to a bar with a more casual outfit after the party, too!

Perfect NYE dress!
I wore this dress to my boyfriend's family's huge NYE party in LA and it was PERFECT. I got compliments all night. The lower cut back and shortness help it feel sexy, while the high neckline and sleeves make it conservative enough to wear to a party with a bunch of old-school Italians (haha). I paired it with the Lilly Pulitzer Sweetheart Necklace and the Lauren Merkin Gold Eve Clutch. My only possible complaint would be the shortness; I am only 5'4'' (but pretty long waisted) and this was almost too short for my comfort when I put heels on. The flowy-ness of the skirt makes up for this well, though--just takes some getting used to. I would rent it again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful, but really heavy
These earrings are gorgeous, especially when the light hits them just right. I got tons of compliments on them all night. Unfortunately, being someone who only wears earrings on special occasions, they did feel VERY heavy to me. I took them off at the end of the night because they were hurting. Also, one of the backings wasn't secure at all and kept sliding, so I had to check it every 10 minutes or so to be sure it was still there (it even slid completely off and went under the table at one point, but we found it, thank goodness). I would have probably assumed they were just made for smaller earlobes (although mine are pretty normal I think), but the other backing was just fine. Overall, they were a great choice for the outfit I wore, but I probably wouldn't rent them again.

Beautiful bag! Smaller than it seems, but perfect size for an evening event
I loved this bag, but not as much as another Lauren Merkin one I rented (don't remember the name, but it was "bone" color and sparkly). The size is deceiving because the actual pocket starts really far down in the bag. I have a Galaxy S3 (BIG phone) and it took some strategy to get it to fit with the other necessities (of which there were few, thankfully). One IMPORTANT thing I wish I would have known: This is NOT a good bag to take if you are wearing a dress with a lace overlay. The sequins WILL catch on it and you'll have to deal with that all day/night. I could basically only hold it in my hand because if I put it under my arm it would catch the lace on my dress. Otherwise, it was fantastic.

Lightweight and just the right amount of sparkle!
I'm not sure what to say about these earrings besides that I looooved them. They were my favorite part of my otherwise-disappointing outfit. They were not heavy at all and didn't hurt or irritate my ears one bit (and I have pretty bad metal allergies). I would most definitely rent these again; they might even become my new go-to!

Didn't love this dress
If you're under about 5'6'' and you want a dress that accomplishes the "sexy but sophisticated" look, this IS NOT the dress to do that. As you can see in the picture, it went all the way to my knees and really didn't flatter my body type (not sure if I'd call it an "hourglass" like it says here, but not sure what else to call it). I normally wear a size 2, which I tried on first, and the sleeves and bust were pretty tight but not unbearable (I have a small-to-average bust size, so someone with a larger bust might find it unbearable), I could still move around. I decided to try on the 4 to see if anything was different besides the fit of the sleeves and chest and didn't notice much except that those areas were looser, so I wore the 4. Oh, and the hem hugs you a lot more than it looks like in the picture, so your legs won't move all that well. I probably won't rent another Milly dress. In sum: if you're on the taller side and are under a C cup, you're probably the ideal body for this dress. Otherwise, it probably won't flatter or fit as well as you'd like.

LOVED this dress!
This dress was amazing. I rented a handbag, earrings, and a bracelet set to go with it and it all worked together so well. I wore it for an afternoon/evening garden party fundraiser and got so many compliments! The dress was a perfect middle ground between dressy and casual. I wore it with cognac wedges to dress it down a bit. I ordered the 2 and the 4 because I haven't actually worn a dress with a numbered size in so long that I had no idea which to get. The 2 ended up fitting great--a little tight in the shoulders but not uncomfortable at all. The way it's made, you have to be VERY careful sitting down in this dress. For some reason it just rides up unless you move in exactly the right way. Otherwise, it's perfect and just as beautiful as it looks on the model!
