Beautiful Navy Gown, (Possibly) Size Up
I rented the 8L and 10R for a Marine Corps ball attended last week. For reference, I am 5'8" with a 38DD chest and 140 (most of that fat sits in my belly and thighs.) In all dresses I am a size 8 regular or long, depending on the brand. This 8L was a great length (with my 4" heels on, just gracefully touched the floor) but was too small up top. I could not close the gown due to my chest. The 10R was a much better fit but I could not wear bra because 1) there was no space for one and 2) the design of the chest/armpit area I could not wear a sweetheart style strapless bra. My chest was held in tight; I could breathe and the girls didn't move. The stomach area was slightly tight for me, but the extra fabric kind of covers it up. I really loved the draping of fabric up front to add drama to the dress. There is also a slit on that side, but it's only noticeable when you're walking. This one got me a lot of compliments in the four hours I wore her. I would absolutely rent this gown again!

Perfect cover-up for bridesmaids at winter wedding
My bridesmaids wore this bolero to my 10 degree outdoor ceremony in early January. It worked well with their burgundy gowns and ivory bouquets. Since it's a "one size fits all" type of jacket, I was afraid the bolero would look too large or small on the ladies. Lo and behold, it worked on everyone! Two of the coldest bridesmaids (meaning all year round they're naturally cold) said they were warm on the shoulders! Other than the shipping mishap (which was fixed by the awesome bridal customer service) I would rent it again.

Gorgeous color, Regular got the job done
First, I loved the color of the dress: black with rich colored florals. I was surprised to see that the underskirt stopped at knee length. I rented the long and regular in medium. For once in my 5'8" life, the regular was long enough! I wore it with 4 inch booties. It was the perfect dress to wear for my winter rehearsal luncheon!

Gorgeous with Weight
These earrings are soooo much prettier in person! They have a bit of weight to them, but not so much that your ears get uncomfortable after a while. These earrings went perfectly with the Slate & Willow Blue Simonetta gown.

Perfect on Top & Bottom
The size I wore was the perfect fit up top. My strapless bra did not move an inch and I danced the entire night. The bottom has some weight to it with the underskirt and, for once, that was fine with me because the underskirt didn't scratch my legs while walking/moving. I loved this dress so much!

A Bit Restricting, But Still Pretty
As others have mentioned, the neckline is a little tight. The bottom half of the dress, however, is very twirling worthy. I wore the medium and I was fine during a wedding day.

This gown is gorgeous in person! The color is vibrant and photographs very well. I could not wear a bra because the cut-out would have shown the hooks. Because of that (I think) there was quite a bit of space in the chest area. Overall I loved it just make sure you have pasties!

Felt like a Disney Princess!
If you are attending a formal event (like a Marine Corps Ball) and want to feel like a Disney princess for the night, then this is your gown! This gown holds true to those who prefer a "simple yet elegant" look to their clothing. I am almost 5'8" at approx 125 lbs with size 32D boobs (yeah, I don't get it either) and I was afraid that the size 8L would be too long and/or too large. It was neither of those things. First, I wore 4" heeled pumps that were perfect because when I walked I looked as if I were floating. Second, every other review is correct in that you do not need a bra- the girls stayed put the entire night. Now for the not-so-fun parts: the cap sleeves sat right in my armpits so the moment the gown was on and zipped I was sweating. Second, this gown has LOTS of layers of tulle. If you are not used to so much tulle, there could be a lot of tripping or heels getting caught in one of them. The only time I had an issue with the tulle is when I would be dancing because I was all over the place. Therefore I highly suggest wearing heels that elevate the gown off the ground. Third, you definitely need a partner to zip you up. There are two layers of zippers, one of them a little more difficult to reach than the other, so find a buddy for assistance. All in all, this gown is gorgeous and certainly worth the purchase! Every girl at the ball complimented my dress or their husbands let me know that their wives liked it the morning after. If you ever get the opportunity grab this gown, it is a show stopper!
