I received this dress as a backup and didn't wear it. While I liked the somewhat futuristic feel of the dress and the icy colors, I found that the dress was very tight across my chest and the lines of the dress didn't fall where they should on me. The angles of the blue pattern across the front hit my hips at an unflattering place which I suspect is due to the fact that I'm 5'11" and mostly leg. It also bothered me that the blue pattern wasn't symmetrical- like the fabric had shifted before being sewn in so rather than falling directly down my middle in a straight line, the center line of star bursts veered off to one side. This my just be my detail oriented self being obsessive but I did feel that it made the dress look lower quality. All in all the dress just wasn't for me but would probably flatter someone with a boyish figure.

I chose this dress after my original dress became unavailable at the last minute and the exceptional customer service people at RTR offered to overnight me any replacement I wanted, regardless of cost. I'd been eyeballing this dress the whole time and it was simply out of my budget so to say I was excited I could now have it was a bit of an understatement. I'm a true hourglass shape and usually take a 4 or a 6 - the 42 fit just fine. The color was gorgeous and the fabric has enough heft to be able to hide any little lumps or bumps you might be worried about without being too heavy. The cut was super flattering and was sexy without being revealing. I paired it with simple peep toes, understated gold jewelry, and a bold lip. I lost count of how many complements I got and felt like million bucks. I would absolutely recommend this dress and would love to wear it again myself!

I rented this dress for a friend's wedding and loved it! It was both flattering and comfortable. The dress arrived with a small stain on the back but when I called customer service they were quick to offer a refund with no questions asked. I still wore the dress since the stain was hidden in the ruching on the dress. I wore it with some metallic heels and a bright red lip and at 5'11" the length and fit were just right! Sexy and slinky while still being classy.

I rented this dress in both the 8 and the 6 in hopes of wearing it to a friend's wedding but I was disappointed to find neither size fit me well. I'm 5'11", about 150 lbs, with a 32DD bust and the 8 was way to big in the top. The 6 fit better in terms of sizing but the dress just didn't offer enough support in the bust area to stay up; even with a very supportive bra on the dress slid right down immediately and bunched at my waist. It was a bit snug in the hips but some spanxs would have fixed that. A 4 might have been tight enough in the bust to stay up but would have been way too tight in the hip area. Straps would have probably solved the problem but I think RTR would have had a problem with me sewing my own on. I don't think this dress is really but right for those of us who are more of an hourglass shape but the fabric was beautiful and it would look great on someone with a straighter shape.
