I ordered this in size 14, since it was for maternity wear, and I was around 28 weeks. I am a petite, 5' 2'' tall person and I usually wear a 10 or a 12. The '14' was pretty big for me, and I think a '12' would have also worked, but it's hard to know unless you've tried it on. Order the same size as you were pre-pregnancy( or may be even one size less )

The large was pretty big for me, and I think a 'small' would have also worked, but it's hard to know unless you've tried it on. It has these pleats that run vertically (advantage if you're short), and also stretches across the belly. I did however wear this to work with a black shrug and it looked really nice. I will probably try this in 'S' and see if it fits. Order the same size as you were pre-pregnancy( or may be even one size less )
