Comfortable with pockets
Got lots of compliments wearing this. Getting someone to help you wasn't the right move for me, it just ended up feeling like a straitjacket situation for 5 minutes. Here's how to put this on by yourself: pull on like pants but don't tie the waist yet because you'll need the fabric to have range of motion. Get one arm, shoulder, and boob into one side. Hunch the other direction, then get your elbow behind your back (if your arms are skinny you might be able to take advantage of the large armholes here) enough to pull the other side over that shoulder like a shawl, then wriggle that hand through the armhole. Now you can button up, cinch and tie the waist normally.

Work appropriate but need layering
I found the neck a bit itchy, and the pattern hugs your curves in a less forgiving way if your boobs aren't flatteringly shaped and you don't layer over it.

Overall I loved the look and fit! The only drawback was that I didn't notice the front leg slits until I put it on, so that limited the weather and footwear combinations a bit.

I recommend a strapless bra for this, since the shoulders can be styled up or down. Flattering form-fit.

I wish I had worn this dress with my hair up, the clasps at the nape of the neck are cute. Love the color. The one-shoulder detail was subtle, so the dress needed pairing with statement pieces.
