Not for big chests
Usually a size small, bought a medium. Barely fits and would look better in a bigger size.

The fit of this is amazing! The material is great. I bought it and ended up wearing it in the Bahamas. I didn’t love the piece by the neck so I just tucked it behind my neck and it was great. Such a fun dress.

Gorgeous color watch out with bigger boobs!
This is a stunning dress. Wore it to a wedding and it was a bit windy making for a little bit of a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen but it worked great. I’m a 34DD+ and it was a bit risqué but a safety pin in the middle helped to hold the drapery neckline in place and then it was awesome. Be aware it has zero stretch. I got the small and medium and wore the small. If I were going to buy it, I would buy the medium and alter the body smaller. Would rent again!

Rtr sent this dress as an alternative to one that I ordered and was unavailable. The dress itself is great- nice material, black tie but just a little more interesting. However, it runs very large and just kind of hung on me. Wasn’t flattering at all as it had no shape to it. I think this was due to the sizing so I would suggest your backup being a size down.

Wore these with the Bagdley utopia maxi for a wedding and they went perfectly. A stylist picked them out for me and I was in love. A bit heavy but complimented the dress without feeling overdone or too matchy.

Detailing is amazing!
This dress came to me for a wedding weekend with about four other ones since my order got royally screwed up. (Day before the event, one dress was returned unwearable and the other was stuck on a broken down ups truck somewhere in Pennsylvania) Rtr was amazing and overnights a dresses to my hotel in Cali and even included coordinating jewelry. They're customer service is out of this world. I'm typically a size 6 so in this dress I was sent a 42 and 44. I ended up wearing the 42 because I had no other options but it was really big. I could actually grab a whole handful of fabric around my waist, which is typically not the case. I would recommend this dress to anyone but would def size DOWN on the backup. The gold zippers, chain etc made it feel really fun and edgy with minimal jewelry needed.

Tiny tiny tiny!!!!
Ok so I absolutely love this dress. I read the other reviews that said it ran small so I ordered a 6 and an 8, I'm usually a 6. I didn't even attempt the 6. I put the 8 on which fit very well when I got it in the mail. Two days later when it was time for my event... Ehhhh. It still fit but made me look really paunchy. Like a total fupa. Yikes. So I ended up wearing something I already had. I'll end up ordering this again but will def be sizing up to an 8 and a 10! A size or two up is def a necessity if you plan on eating, drinking, or sitting.

Great color but tight bust
Rented this for a wedding in New York and got a 6L and an 8L. Both dresses for through the body but the 6L was a little constricting in the bustline. Also, I always have issues deciding between a R or an L. I'm 5'6"/5'7" which is on the line and I think I could have gone with either length in this dress.

Great for a 1920s black tie optional party!
Ordered a small and medium, ended up wearing the medium, fit my boobs better (36D/DD). Didn't need to wear a bra with it because it held me in really well. Loved it!

Ordered this as a backup for a white tie affair. Thank god it was only my backup because while the 6L fit, it looks very unflattering on someone who is a little 'less taunt' in the abdominal region. Wish I was in better shape and could wear it!

Gorgeous dress, but the long was definitely needed!
I wore this dress to a white tie affair in January. After reading the other reviews I opted to get a 4L and a 6L. Ive never ordered a long before but was glad that I did. I'm 5'7' and wore the 6L with 3 1/2" heels which was perfect. The model pictures don't really show that the front is a bit shorter than the back, hence the long. Both the 4 and 6 fit but I felt like I could dance and drink a bit better in the 6. I loved this dress and got many compliments on it. Very classic!
