Great (fall) coat-- I just can't deal with squeaky leather or pleather!

Nice coat... I guess I'm still learning that I'm not a huge fan of most leather/faux leather outerwear. This coat fit great (even a little big), was pretty flattering and fun, quite soft and comfortable in most respects, and probably perfect in ~45-60-degree weather. I totally see why so many people love it. And yet... I don't think it's stiff, per se-- it's quite buttery, in fact. It's just that anything much thicker than denim, and especially that rubs together and squeaks... it's just not my bag. I don't think the thickness or squeakiness would bug anyone else, but I just couldn't enjoy it, the way I would have if this same coat was made of almost any other material. Keep in mind I feel the same about fantastic, flexible, soft leather jackets, too, and make your decision accordingly! :)

Great fit for pear shapes?

This piece was totally cute, and definitely well-made, but not quite for me. I am currently about 35-28-39.5 and ordered a 4, but a 6 would have fit better. That said, I think the IDEAL body type for this jumpsuit is pear-shaped. The 4 was comfortable or almost a tad loose on my hips, with extra lower tummy room-- and my hips are by far my largest measurement. Not just literally, but relatively speaking-- they are almost 40 inches. Yet the waist JUST fit my 28-inch waist-- a waist size that usually matches smaller hips than mine-- and the bust was quite tight (if still passable) on a 35-inch bust, which usually matches a smaller waist and MUCH smaller hips than mine. I could see this working 100% perfectly on someone with a small or moderate bust, smallish waist (with a higher narrowest point than mine) and relatively large hips and lower body.

LOVE these shorts-- but consider ordering a size down

I'll buy these soon! Cute details, fun cut-- like the cutoff jeans (cut off from real jeans) I had in the 90s. They do fit huge though-- or I just don't know my size in Citizens (very possible). They're meant to be oversized, but this photo shows when I first tried them on. By the end of the day, they were still cute, but it was clear I could fit at least 2 sizes smaller. I think one size down would have been perfect. I have a 28" waist + 39-40" hips. These are size 27, but ideally I'd buy 26.

The ULTIMATE in "sweater dresses"

No others need apply. It's deceptively simple, borderline boring in some of the photos-- but wow! -Gorgeous colors and lines. -Lovely detailed scalloping at the hem and end of the sleeves. -Really substantial, luxurious weight. -Form-fitting without being tight-- very comfortable. -Finally! Sleeves that are not too long, w/o my having to get a Petite size! (I am 5'2.5" with a shorter torso.) I'd say this fits TTS, even if you prefer a snug fit, maybe don't go down too small. I wore a M and have measurements around 37-29-40 or 41. I'm going to find a way to buy this dress!

Cute bag, not too expensive/fancy-looking

I guess it should have been more obvious to me from the photos. This is a really adorable bag, nice soft leather, but something about the shape and goldtone chain and... maybe the color? It's really not for cocktail-level formality or higher. Lesson learned!

Really liked it, more likely to buy than rent!

Sounds funny, but true-- it would have been perfect if I could have altered it-- in this case, by taking it up a couple of inches at the shoulder. Without that, it drooped a bit at the armholes and caused a zipper bump in the back. Otherwise fit well on the bust w/room to spare (I just measured my bust at 37") and perfectly at the waist (about 29-30"). This was a reach rental for me-- a style I knew wasn't certain to be flattering-- but I really, REALLY liked it, outside of the need for alteration. It's funky and flattering.

Cute, but... maybe I should have sized down?

I've had my eye on this designer for a while, but this piece didn't satisfy my curiosity. I liked it, but didn't love it. Maybe I should have gotten the Small? My bust is currently about 37 inches across, if that's helpful. Great color, drape/sewing was a bit odd at the bottom band, but good length-- cropped, but not too cropped. Slightly itchy. Fashion tape was a must! I wouldn't rent it again, but I'm looking forward to snagging something else by Ronny Kobo to compare.

Buttery soft!

Fit almost exactly as I expected based on other reviews-- I am between sizes in this, so the M was a bit tight on the bust when fully zipped, but the waist was great-- I measure 39-30-42. It was actually more snug on the ribcage, but I do have a big ribcage. Beautifully made, beautiful construction and color-- I probably won't rent again, but only because... maybe I'm just not used to the relative lack of stretch, and the heavy weight of a leather jacket? But it's very very nice.

A lot of fun

It really fit very well, per reviews. I'm at about 39-30-42, 5'2+, and this was basically a perfect fit. It really is a bit odd that it's most definitely the same fabric throughout, but it seems so much stretchier in the bottom than the top, which feels stiffer? I guess it's the additional stitching/pockets/buttons and the looser fit on top. Tons of compliments, but I think I might have slightly preferred something lighter and stretchier up top. Only minor fit issue was a slight bunching at the waist-- not because it was too big or too small, but I'm REALLY short-waisted.

Great bag, funky style, TONS of room

I really loved this bag and would rent it again if I needed a yellow one (I'm repping the Philippine flag here). It fit my iPhone, several cosmetics and toiletries, sanitizer, money, mirror, handkerchief, you name it. I loved the style... so why only 4 stars? Maybe it's my naivete or inexperience with fancy bags, but I guess I assumed a bag that cost almost $700 would feel a little more... luxe? It didn't look or feel cheap. Just maybe... a little stiff? And it might just be that it had been rented a bunch before, but if you looked closely, you could see the stitching was a bit dingy. (That can be harder to clean, I get it.) But this is a quibble. It's a great bag, and I'd be totally willing to rent it again.

Fantastic dress, bra conundrum

My first time EVER wearing an Herve Leger bandage dress after 10-15 years of lusting after them. Good news: Overall was incredible on my hourglass figure (currently ~39-30-42). And the color!! Plus, it was pretty comfortable, even in the belly, through a night of mostly sitting (attending a theater performance). It absolutely didn't ride up, and I didn't have to tug at anything. I did wear a light high-waisted shaper underneath because, although the fabric was thick, I thought you could still see my bellybutton otherwise. Less-good news: A little awkward or loose in the top. I think I might just be slightly between sizes, whatever the size chart says. I'm sure (?) the small wouldn't have fit me, but neither did the dress give me enough support or shape without a bra, which I thought it might. Because the back is low-cut, with criss-crossing straps, a bra is... a challenge. I didn't have a low-back strapless, so I got one of those pretty extreme convertible bras and that actually was *okay*, but I would have had to rig it so that its crossback straps widened to actually fit under this dress's crossback straps... ultimately, it was a cold night anyway, so I just said "eff it" and wore a regular plunge bra (Freya Deco) and kept my pashmina on for 99% of the night to cover the back. If I bought this dress, I would shorten the straps, and I think that would also help enough so that I could go braless, but what can you do? All in all, I though I did look fab, and I look forward to renting another Herve in a different style and reporting back.
