I own 6 Ellie's and have been collecting them since before they had pockets. I have worn them pregnant, not pregnant, nursing, to work, to events, actually to nap in (because I was pregnant), and literally everywhere. As a 36c I can still go braless, but I also pair mine with Skims Fits Everybody scoop bralette. I wanted to try this new color to see if I needed it (it's close to one I have) and just to have a dress in my subscription I KNEW would work. Ellie can run a little large, but even though I'm an 8 I still did the L so I got more coverage since I was wearing to work. I can also fit the M. It's seriously the most comfortable, flattering, fun dress. If you haven't tried it, do it! Size according to your bust, it flows out from under your bra band.

I wore this dress on my first day at my new job (at Warby Parker). I got so many compliments everywhere I went. I felt comfortable, confident, and like I stood out in the best way. It definitely requires special panty attention. I went with a smoothing bike short situation. Anything that was shaping gave me muffin-spillage, and a thong felt too naked/ you could see the under-butt line (if you have a bigger butt/mom butt you know what I mean). I'm 20 months postpartum c-section so I'm not super confident with my lower belly, but because of the thickness of the knit even though this hugged, it felt flattering. This was honestly almost a buy for me because you could wear it almost year round.

I just started a new job (if you can't tell, it's at Warby Parker) and I signed up for an RTR subscription to help build out my closet. We can wear whatever we want with our blue 'shacket' on top. The dress seemed like a good idea at the time, but as you can see, once the shacket was added, plus my white flats (seemed like a good idea at the time?) it was giving major mid-1900's nurse cosplay. Is it the fault of the dress? No, not really, but it isn't the most flattering length on me and my frame. The straight cut, denim, and length is giving me trauma flashbacks to middle school in the early 2000's in a Amish/Mennonite/farm county. 4 stars because the length is dowdy, but the quality of the dress is amazing. Be aware there is NO stretch at the waist, so you need to size accordingly. Additionally, when sitting the buttons gap a little so you may need to address this with tape, pins, prayers etc. if you are wearing in a conservative setting.

I rented this for my bachelorette weekend and wore it out to the main event. The fit was spot on for my body type and the length worked with 3.5 inch heels. No need for a bra with the clever darts. There was enough stretch to make it comfortable to move in even though it was so close fitting. Not see through and no panty line with a thong! I would to totally rent again for a fun night out look and will definitely be renting this brand in the future.

I rented this romper for my bachelorette weekend in Miami. I'm a 4-6 and the M was spot on, if a little big in the bust but the adjustable straps made this a non issue. If your hips are larger than a 28-29, a M would be too small IMO for reference. The length is comfortable without feeling like your booty is peeking out without feeling juvenile. The stretch blend cotton resists wrinkles and makes for such a comfortable wear.

I loved wearing this maxi on vacation as a throw on dress that easily made me feel fabulous. It's a silken feel that doesn't wrinkle and so easy to pack. I do feel this ran on the smaller end despite the stretch. For a medium it was closer to a 4-6 than 6-8 for reference. It hit at my ankle which is a length I love but may be a little short for taller people. The print is SO FUN and I got so many compliments. The fit was perfect! I am almost always a 4 and it was true to size. No need for a bra (which I love) because the fabric is thick enough for no show through. Obviously, you will need to steam it before wear, but this was not difficult to do with my trusty portable hand steamer! Also, POCKETS! Enough said. I wore this with a vintage mink stole for the ultimate glam finishing touch (you could rent the RTR fluffy feather topper for a great finishing touch).
