Lots O’ Denim

Cute dress for the right event… I ultimately chose a different option for a Wild West themed fundraiser. The fit was snug like a good pair of jeans through the bottom and hips with more room and casual fit on top. The top was a little too long and wide for narrow shoulders and a short torso, which caused a baggy effect above the waist. Would recommend for a different figure.

Yee-haw

The fit worked well for a petite build, maybe ran a little small. The dress features snap closures down the front and at wrists. The collar doesn’t sit perfectly even unless fully buttoned, which would be uncomfortable at the neck. It got a couple of compliments for a Wild West themed event. 🤠

belt issues

The belt doesn't allow for much adjusting and once I pulled it tight enough the silky material just caused it to slip right back out and hang loose. Double sided tape may have helped but I didn't like it enough to try. Between the bold print and big structure I felt like it swallowed my frame but the rear ruffles were a fun touch.

so fun to wear

I loved borrowing this gown! Fabric and details with sporadic sequins to make it shine were beautiful. Although these details seem hard to keep looking new with a few loose threads, etc. I usually try to size for a petite so this gown ran long for me and I needed taller heels, still having to pick up the dress when I walked. I also have a shorter torso so I noticed extra fabric there, requiring adjusting and pulling up at times. Aside from that, this gown was amazing and super fun to wear for a Kentucky Derby themed event. It's even prettier in person and realtively comfortable for the formality.

Not For Short Torsos

I was so excited about this dress but wish there was a petite option. If you don’t have a long torso, the back hits way too low (think love handle exposure) and the front bunches and folds. Even with a good fit I think this dress would be difficult to sit in. The material is thick, high-quality, which is nice and sleeves are tight like others have mentioned. The slit is here to party. Beautiful dress for long ladies to stand in. 🖤

Dream Dress

This dress had plenty of stretch with ruching in the right places to give movement and coverage. Very comfortable material - I loved the texture. The sleeve and neckline cuts/detail made it feel higher-end and special. The hem length was perfect for a shorty like me to still see shoes and not worry about tripping. The slit was conservative and the inner lining felt high-quality. Great dress for dancing too. 🧡
