Solid backup!
Thank goodness for this dress because my original choice wasn’t for me. This is so versatile- can be dressed up or down! I’m 5’1” and wore 4.5” heels in order for this not to drag on the ground. The corset top was shaping but comfortable and the pleats were slimming. This was a fun and easy rental! I chose to wear a 4 for comfort. True to size!

Not for Me
This dress had such high ratings and pictures of it on others were gorgeous, but it just wasn’t for me. I’m wearing the smaller of the sizes I ordered (a 2) and even then, the puffy sleeves and ruffles swallowed me. This dress would be gorgeous on someone taller. Fabric is comfortable and the dress is easy to get in and out of. Belt around the cutouts is attached and doesn’t have stretch, so keep that in mind when ordering backup size!

So Fun!
I couldn’t go 10 feet without someone stopping me to compliment this dress. I wore it to an art auction, and one of the artists even told me they were going to use these colors for a future palette. I loved how comfortable this was, the ruching hides imperfections, and there were thumb holes! Things to remember: it’s a turtleneck without a zipper, so do your hair after putting this on (thanks to the reviewer who mentioned this!) Also, it rides up when you walk, so it can go from a maxi to a mini in a block’s walk 🤣 I had to pull down often, which is why I rated four instead of five stars! I loved this rental!

Waste of Money
Pros: Color, warm Cons: runs incredibly small (I’m normally a 2 and needed a 6), super short, even on my 5’1” frame, may or may not come with shoulder pads (the 4 came without, the 6 came with), sequins which go in all different directions, and a hem at the bottom that doesn’t lie flat over tights. I ended up not being able to wear this for NYE and was left scrambling for an outfit. Don’t waste your time or money!

Couldn’t Wear
This dress is GORGEOUS. Unfortunately, the proportions of the bodice aren’t made for petites. The shoulders were too far away from the waist, and no matter how much tape or folding I couldn’t get this dress to stay on my shoulders without the front V being at my waist. The proportions made it look sloppy, so I wore a dress I already have. This would be gorgeous for someone taller or with a longer torso!

My Favorite Rental EVER
This dress was the best dress I’ve ever rented! It fit beautifully- true to size- and was made of quality fabric that was substantial and hugged curves perfectly. I’m 32D and 5’1”- I needed to use some fashion tape to keep the top and one shoulder in place, but it was so worth it. Compliments all night long! If I could, I’d buy this!

Ordered my recommended size and gosh, this was tight. Shows everything, so shapewear would have been a must. The size larger wasn't available, so I'm left wondering if that would have worked. Ended up not wearing this because it ran so small!

This dress is GORGEOUS. It fits like a dream and is more comfortable than I care to admit. The back is white, so some shapewear may be necessary. Can be worn with or without strapless bra. I got this as a backup for a work event and simply didn't wear it because our dress code changed. I'm 5'1", 34B, 125 and the 2 was perfect. I'll be renting this again for a date night or wedding!

Princess Dress
I'm 5'1", 125 and a 34B- the 2 fit perfectly. Note that the waist doesn't have any stretch, so I'd recommend sizing up for your backup. This dress made me feel like a princess and I received compliments all night. I took one star off because I'd occasionally have to adjust the tulle. Be sure to do a twirl in this dress!

Gorgeous, but Unpractical
I ordered this for a cocktail party and while the 0R fit BEAUTIFULLY (I'm 5'1", 125lbs, 34B) up top, even with 4.5 heels the legs were a tad too long. I might have dealt with the extra fabric, but I couldn't imagine wearing this all night. The boning inside zips together as well as the side zipper to zip up the entire pantsuit. It could be user error as no one has mentioned this, but the zipper was at such an awkward position under my arm that I couldn't zip it up all the way myself. I'd need a bathroom buddy all night to help, and that was a deal breaker for me. Gorgeous fabric, hides flaws, accurate color in photo, but just too much hassle.
