It was really hard to find a dress that would fit my tiny frame - I'm 103, 5'1". This dress worked great. In person, the lace does beautifully framing the face coming all the way up to the neckline. It is very forgiving for anyone who has any extra weight on them. It was a tad long for me, but the look lends to that drape-liek feel so I was able to get away with it. The sash's velvet adds an elegance to it. I had to use a safety pin to make it a bit tighter around my waist, it wasn't too much trouble.
