I wore this to a black tie optional wedding in Alabama in July. This dress was perfect! The material was heavy enough that it felt formal, but not heavy enough that I was dying in this heat and humidity. I feel that Shoshanna runs a tad small for someone with curves (5’9”, 34C). I’m usually a size 8 in most clothes, but opted to wear the 12 in this dress. It was a touch roomy, but I felt like it was the perfect amount of room to eat/drink/dance. I was able to wear the 10, but it was form fitting. I don’t think I would have been able to wear the size 8 in this dress.

I loved wearing this dress! I found myself to be between the Small and Medium but went with Medium to give myself more room to eat/drink/move around. On the Medium, the black crochet was not tight around your ribs or waist. The torso was a little loose and baggy despite the top fitting me. I'm 5'9" and the dress came down below my knees. I would definitely rent again.

This dress was super fun to wear to a dinner party. It was really comfortable--easy to eat and drink in. Definitely better for warmer weather. The only thing to watch is the cutout in the front. Sometimes when you move it shifts and shows more than you care to.

I wore this dress for my rehearsal dinner, and it was super fun to wear! From the waist down, I have absolutely no complaints. The pockets are clutch! But, the top definitely runs small and pushes your chest down if you've got more to work with. Since the top is tight, it did rub against my shoulders and back/armpit area a good bit. I was also hugging a lot of people and moving my arms, so if you're going to be more sedentary, I don't think it will be as bad.

I really enjoyed wearing this dress! It was a stretchy neoprene, so I was comfortable all day long. I could have worn either size--4 or 6--but, I decided to size up to the 6, because the slight racerback cut of the back was a little tight on my shoulder blades. Would definitely recommend for any daytime or spring event!

I loved this dress! It was very comfortable and stretchy. This definitely runs true to size. I ordered a size up and it was too baggy in my midsection. I don't normally wear tighter dresses, so I had a pair of boyshort Spanx on underneath. If you also go that route, I'd suggest wearing Spanx that are longer. Mine kept bunching up around the tops of my legs and you could see that line. I would definitely rent again.

I had a great time wearing this dress! I wore it to a surprise birthday party with flats and minimal jewelry to dress it down a bit. I never felt like I was pulling the dress up at any point in time. It is very fitted throughout the midsection with little to no give, but it wasn't uncomfortable by any means. I did feel like I had to keep my legs close together since the dress is very straight, but there's a slit in the back that makes walking very easy. I did wear some Spanx underneath to make myself feel better, and they didn't show or feel uncomfortable under the dress. Overall, I would definitely recommend!

I was the Maid of Honor at my sister's wedding this past weekend, and this dress was perfect! I thought I had ordered both the 4 and 6, but only the 6 arrived. It was a little too large in the abdomen area, but I made it work. I am somewhere in between a 4 and 6, but the 4 would have been perfect. However, having the 6 made movement much easier--sitting, dancing, etc. My sister wanted dresses more on the conservative side, so this was perfect. It hit right above my knee and covered everything you wanted it to. I'd highly recommend this dress!

I was not a huge fan of this dress. I ordered it for my boyfriend's family's fancy Christmas party, and it did not work. The V-neck was definitely too low for me and I had a lot of cleavage happening. I was basically busting out the top. The pleating around the waist was not very flattering on my body type at all. It was loose in the front (almost like a bubble skirt), but the back side was more form fitting. In my opinion, I'd say this dress is better for date night (where you might want some cleavage) or for ladies with straighter body types than mine. The only upside to this dress (in my opinion) was the weight of this dress. Since it was so cold out, the weight and long sleeves kept me very warm. Throw on a pair of tights and you're good to go.

I usually wear a 4 or 6 in dresses, but the 4 fit perfectly. I don't really have a defined waist, but this dress gave the illusion of one. I did not feel that the top ran big or was too tight, despite being a C. I had plenty of room to breathe. After a full night of eating and drinking, the dress was still perfectly comfortable. I highly recommend!
