Probably should have gone down a size. But I liked it. It looks like denim but the fabric is a little lighter so it feels a little more formal and less heavy.

Nice dress but never wore
In a lot of more contemporary labels, I am always a bigger size than I would like, but in this dress, I should have worn a medium. This dress also needs a camisole under neath and is a little short for a woman my age!

This was my back up dress, and I am really glad that the other one worked out!
RTR told me that this was "bump friendly" and as I am longing for the days of dresses with a waist, I decided to trust them, but I am so glad I had another dress that worked. This was tight around my middle (26 weeks at the time) but huge around the top and for someone who is wearing a 34E these days, that surprised me. The dress itself was cute, but I probably would not have rented it if RTR hadn't told me it would work for a pregnant woman. It didn't, but I also did love the fabric and decoration up close. For such a pricey dress, it felt and hung a bit cheaply.

Fun necklace that I would never buy for myself but worked for the event and dress.
This was a good fit with my Shoshanna maxi dress to dress it up a bit, since the pink/orange combo was a little Palm Beachy for the Park Avenue cocktail party I attended.

I wore this dress at 26 weeks pregnant, and it was a big hit!
I am short (5'2), so the regular was definitely the one for me, though it was a little long since I had to wear low heels. On the busty side to begin with, but even more so these days, so was pleased that the chest accommodated that. I am normally a 4/6 in regular Shoshanna, and going up to an 8 worked better for me than the 10 around the sleeves. By the end of the night, I wanted to be out of it and wearing a big t-shirt, but that's true of almost anything these days!
