Black Tie Appropriate
Rented this style in both 10 and 8, and ended up wearing the 8. Textile is heavy and feels expensive. Fitted through the chest, with room in the hips, which allowed me to size down.

Forgiving waist - great texture
The length of this dress is great for us shorter girls. I'm 5'1" and it was ankle length on me. I ordered a medium and small for backup, and ended up going with the small. The stretch in the waist is very forgiving and flattering. The cutouts were not very visible - but perhaps that's because of my height? I loved the texture of this dress - it's a fun way to incorporate sparkle into your outfit.

comfortable; nice color for winter; fits large in the bust
This dress fit, but was large in the bust. I had to wear a bra to fill it out and use fashion tape to prevent the top from opening on the dance floor. The dress was comfortable to be in for hours at a time - the wedding was midday and the reception did not end until after 10 p.m.

I did not wear this dress.
This was somewhat small in the chest/ribcage. I anticipated this may not fit when I ordered it. I would have ordered a medium if it was available. But the small did not fit to the point where I could not zip it up because it was so tight in the chest. However - if you can get the size that will fit you, you should rent this dress. I could tell it would be extremely flattering if I had the right size. The shimmery detail was gorgeous and looked expensive (much more so than the dress I eventually wore.

The fit was great. It fit true to size. I was a little worried about it being to tight since I did not get a back-up size, so I ended up ordering a 6, when I usually wear a 4. The dress was very comfortable and flattering. It's a great dress to hide fuller hips.

Sparkle for a winter wedding
I love the style and quality of this dress, but it is much too small. I would say order two sizes up. I ordered my normal size (4) and one size larger (6) as my backup and the size 6 was still too fitted in the hips. The quality of the dress was nice though. I did notice it riding up in the front (like other reviewers had mentioned), but that didn't bother me. My boyfriend, as a groomsman, was wearing champagne, and I wanted to match. The sparkle of the dress along with the sparkle on the belt made this dress perfect for a winter wedding.
