I'm usually a size 4, so I ordered a 4 with a 2 as backup. Even the 2 was too large and I wish I could have gotten a 0, but RTR didn't have any available. I made the 2 work but let this be your warning to size down, maybe even 2 sizes! Besides that, the skirt is a beautiful material and worked perfectly for my work holiday party. I'd rent again, but this time in the correct size!

This dress was perfect for the occasion, but I would probably not rent again. The 6 fit me perfectly on top, but was a bit too loose around the hips; the dress stuck out ~1 cm on each side of my hips. But for a fall/winter formal wedding, I appreciated the long sleeves and more conservative cut. Honestly, this dress is exactly why I love RTR: I didn't have to buy a dress I will probably never wear again!

I LOVE THIS DRESS. I seriously considered buying this dress because I love it so much. It's so classy, sexy yet modest, and could be worn to a variety of events (I wore it to a holiday Christmas party). I received so many compliments throughout the night. Most importantly, I felt confident, comfortable, and beautiful. Some of the reviews warned that this dress is tight in the bust, so I was a little nervous about that but it ended up being fine! I'm 5 ft 5 in, 135 lbs, and wear a 32DDD/E. The small regular fit me perfectly with heels. I got a medium regular as a backup, and the color on the top was more of a gray than a white; not sure if that is because the medium has been worn more times or whether a different fabric was used, so beware if you're getting a medium.

Seriously, this dress is awesome. It definitely won't work on every body type, though. I'm usually a size 6 (5'5", 140 lbs) so I ordered the 6 and the 4 as backup. I'm SO glad I ordered the 4 and I even wish I had ordered the 2. The hips on this dress are very strange and while the 4 definitely fit my bust, I think the 2 would have fit better through the hips. You can see a little bit of the bunching at the hip in the picture but it definitely wasn't bad enough for me to not wear the dress. And I got compliments all night long! As other reviewers have said, the material reminds me of a wetsuit but definitely not in a bad way. If anything, it meant that I didn't have to wear a jacket over it. I would definitely wear again!
