The gold is prettier in person than in any of the online photos. I wore 3 inch heels and the bottom of my size 2L just hit floor. As my bust is small, I had to use lots of tape with the top to keep it from being too loose and drapey. Still, I think this dress looks best on those with smaller busts.

This dress was comfortable and easy to wear. Because it covers most of your skin, it is great if you are not quite as fit or party ready as you want to be come event day. My only complaint is that even the long size is too short. I am 5 foot 8 and I had to wear flats. I've had this issue with all the RTR dresses I have worn. I've always ordered the long version and have always had to wear flats.

I wore this to a holiday gala at a botanic garden. It was stunning and I received many positive comments. However, even the long option was short for me (at 5'8" or 5'9") and I needed to run out and buy flat shoes to wear with it, ditching my heels. Also note that, if you wear a bra, you will be able to see it through the lace on top of dress. I opted to wear a black tank top that came up pretty high. It worked out OK as it was a chilly night.
