I wanted to love this dress, it’s so beautiful and unique and I almost ended up wearing it but I just felt like it made me look wide and bigger than I am. I think it would be more flattering on someone with more narrow hips. I think it fit true to size, maybe slightly small if anything for those with an athletic build.

This dress was gorgeous but the fit was odd so I didn’t end up wearing it. The hips were uncomfortably tight but the bust was too big (and I am a 32G). So I don’t even think I could have sized up for a better fit in the hips with the bust issue. I think if you have narrow hips this could work for you. Love the colors and the neck scarf detail, would have been really nice for a summer wedding.

Loved this dress so much for a spring wedding. I am usually an 8 but the 6 fit better overall because the 8 was kind of baggy, so maybe size down for your backup size. I will say it was definitely tight in the bust and the straps are not adjustable - I kind of assumed they would be too long but they were actually too short/tight on me so heads up if you have bigger boobs. So overall a little bit uncomfortable from the waist up but worth it because I felt so cute in it! Plus it had pockets! No bra or shapewear needed which was also a plus. I do think the dress may be hot in the summer months because it’s a lot of fabric.

I rented this dress for an 80s themed work party, but the fit was terrible so I didn’t end up wearing it. I ordered 2 sizes up based on reviews saying it was tight in the hips but it still didn’t fit. The proportions of this dress also are poorly designed. I have wide hips and a 32E bust and the dress was way too tight on bottom but way too loose on top - like couldn’t even be pinned without looking ridiculous because it was so big on top. It was also short and just generally unflattering on me. I thought it looked cheap.

I’ve rented this dress on multiple occasions for weddings and holiday parties because I love the fit so much. I have a curvy athletic build and love the way it fits on me. I still wear spanx but don’t need to wear a bra. It’s big boob friendly and I love the one shoulder look. The length is perfect (I’m 5’5”). I’ve worn the M at a few different weights ranging from 140-160 because it has some stretch and it still sucks me in. I would say order up for your backup size to be safe.

I wore this to my husband’s holiday party around 6 months pregnant and was happy with my choice. It’s comfortable, warm, and modest. It is obviously form fitting so just something to keep in mind, I wore maternity spanx just because I felt better with how the dress looked with them. There was some bunching in the sleeves because the sleeves were a little long for me and also a little in the boob area because it rode up a bit. But overall I would recommend it for every day, work, or less formal events.

I wore this to a wedding in early fall and it was perfect! Very flattering and I love that you can adjust the fit up top with the adjustable straps and the tie in the back. I was able to wear it without a bra and still feel supported without too much cleavage. I was also newly pregnant at the time and can confirm it does not cling to any problem areas. I loved the length and flow too, so fun for dancing. Overall one of my favorite rentals ever! Could also be appropriate for less formal events - I wouldn’t wear it to a black tie optional or super formal wedding.

This dress was a great choice for a spring wedding. The color (which is more purple than it looks in the model pictures) and design made me stand out and feel amazing. True to size, I’m usually a 6 or 8 depending on the dress and the 8 fit well. I will say that it’s not very big boob friendly. I’m not particularly comfortable with a lot of cleavage, so if you are then it may not be an issue for you - but the top just really wasn’t made for big boobs so there’s nowhere for them to go. I wasn’t able to wear a strapless bra without it showing, so I just wore pasties without a bra and it felt a bit dicey a few times when dancing. It also clung to my stomach and hips in an unflattering way when walking but I think that’s just the cut and my body. I didn’t love the way the bottom looked from the front but that’s more of a personal preference. Overall it was comfortable except for the cleavage and I’m glad I rented it!!

This brand always runs very small on me and this dress was no exception. It does have stretch that sucks you in and it made my waist look very small. But if you're curvy in your hips/butt/legs then I would highly recommend that you size up. The top also didn't sit right for me - not sure if it was because of my boobs or because I have muscular traps but it wouldn't sit flat and ended up looking more like an cowl neck. I didn't wear this dress to my event because of the fit.

Rented for a black tie wedding and thought it was perfect for the occasion - classy but still sexy. True to size (UK sizes so go up 2). Straps were challenging for muscular traps/back, they didn't want to stay put and kept sliding off but I love that they're adjustable. I ordered the long after reading reviews about the regular being too short, but the long was way too long for me (and you can't really just lift and carry it because the slit is too high). I'm so glad I rented this dress! It was so comfortable and I felt amazing in it. The colors are beautiful, even more so in person than in photos. I would say it runs a tad big - I usually wear an 8 right now and the medium was a bit loose in the waist area. I definitely had to wear boob tape but I loved that I could tie the straps exactly where I wanted them. I'm about 5'5" and it hit above my toes with heels on. Rented this for a wedding but I didn't end up wearing it. Pretty true to size but just didn't look good on my body (athletic build). I'm usually between a 6 and 8 and I found the 6 to be just a bit too tight while the 8 was a bit baggy in places. Felt restrictive and unflattering on me. Overall very happy that I chose this dress for my company holiday party. A few things: the color was not as red as I was expecting based on the pictures. It's more of a red-orange or almost a coral red. The dress also runs small so I recommend sizing up for your backup size. I am almost always a medium but this medium was way more snug in my stomach and hips than I would have liked (basically a bodycon dress). I ordered a large as my backup but it was too big, so I ended up buying Spanx and wearing the medium. The fabric has a lot of stretch to it but it will not hide any problem areas. I also had no mobility on the off-the-shoulder arm, it really felt like I was wearing a sling all night. It ended up being worth it because I felt great and got compliments all night! Definitely a standout with the color and neckline. I did not wear a bra and did not have an issue with underwear/Spanx lines.

I rented this dress for my work holiday party and can't recommend it enough. The cut out adds just enough edge to make it a little sexy while still being very covered. I also loved the way the back was cut, I wish I took a picture because it was also very subtly sexy. I usually wear a 4 or 6, and I went with the 4 because it was more snug in my chest so I didn't need to wear a bra. So comfortable - tight enough that you feel held in but a lot of stretch so it's easy to move in. Slimming even after eating. Great mid-thigh length for me (5'5") even when sitting and didn't ride up, although did require some occasional pulling down so the cutout out laid flat and didn't look wrinkled. I was nervous about the cut in the front because I worried it would accentuate my dreaded armpit fat but I thought it looked great overall! For your free backup size I would definitely recommend sizing down.

Rented this dress for my boyfriend's work holiday party and was very happy with my choice. In my experience the fit ran small, I typically wear a 4-6 and even the 6 was a little tight in the arms area but actually seemed to loosen a little throughout the night and was overall very comfortable. Perfect for winter because of thick material and the pattern, which is more subtle than in the RTR picture but beautiful even in the dark. Very classy but back is amazing.
